'They aren't back in until tomorrow, so if he was injured then I cant see how he would have been scanned etc.. also walked off the pitch and in the changing rooms absolutely fine post Sunderland so unless he's done it in his days off, and somehow diagnosed himself, I would assume its a wind up for now'
There's nothing wrong with his ankle. I'd bet the last little bit of the good reputation that I haven't got on it being false news.

He is nearly back to fitness.

To be fair he's arguably last in the CM pecking order right now
It isn't that he is a poor player. We just have some real quality players in midfield. I'm never unhappy to see him named in the team. It's just that certain players are more suited to different opponents.

Il kick the fuck out of your dad you little twerp

Given you threatened Sheaf months ago and did absolutely nothing I imagine my dad is safe. Least my dad can afford his own holidays and doesn’t take freebies.

Great example to your children threatening a 70 year old man and not being able to afford a holiday though. I feel incredibly sorry for them👍🏻

Frank clearly doesn't rate him. Not good enough where we want to get to.

Shame for him re. injury - but from a squad point of view shouldn't be a problem
Hope this is bullshit.
Isn't he a player who starts or comes on when on the subs bench? He is an important part of the team and squad and will be sorely missed.
If Rudoni and Sheaf can't come back to top level performances, we will struggle. It is a squad game now now the first 11.

FL also stated he hopes to have sheaf rudi and bta fit for after then break post Sunderland

you’d think he’d know 😂
Think the important word is "hope". Rudi may be able to nurse a dislocated shoulder until the end of the season, or it goes again and its a pin and out until next season.
Sheaf seems to have been struggling with injuries all season. He has not looked at his best whenever he comes back.
BTA and EMC have ongoing issues that may require rest but we cannot afford to lose too many players.

Bunch of pricks on this board. Lots of hating on one of our own who might be injured and others using it as an opportunity for sly little digs at our captain. Pathetic.

And others using it as an opportunity to blindly defend him like usual.

Did you go through the points per game yet, or are you still in denial?

Eccles is a good sport. Even with a niggle he plays. The kind of guy you want in your team.

We've had Wright, EMC and Rudoni injured. They've had a good mid season rest. Two of them back playing well. Just Rudoni now. They will be up against players knackered and picking up injuries which finishes their season.

I count their injuries as a blessing in disguise.

Hindsight is lovely after you've won 9 in 10 without Wright, but I doubt anyone would have been thinking "how about we try playing without Wright for the next few months" back in November.

Realistically Allen is still probably 4/5th in the rotation. Rudoni and Sheaf being injured bumps him into a starter.
Well everyone (bar Eccles) should be available against Sheffield Utd, so it will be interesting to see who FL starts.

After having the captains armband, and getting m.o.m from FL in the best performance of the season, I'd be very suprised if Allen doesn't get the nod again.

Don't think having injured players is a blessing in disguise.
IT can occasionally work to your benefit. It can force the hand of a manager reluctant to make a hard choice. 1986 World Cup - Bryan Robson injured and Ray Wilkins sent off. Enter Glen Hoddle and Peter Reid and a great cup run.

This year we only found out what EMC was capable of because Haji got injured leaving a place on the left free

Every cloud etc etc
