For once the scheduling should have worked in our favour. As you say at Edgbaston and 122-8 it should have been a pretty much guaranteed win. Now we're going to Lords with the potential to go 2-0 down. Concerns about the batting, injury concerns about Archer and Anderson and seemingly a complete inability to get Smith out.It's cause it's Lords that we play there. England are often very poor on that ground. Edgbaston is usually our favoured ground results wise so to have lost, esp having got them 122-8 first innings is very worrying.
Somehow England need to get the win at Lords. 2-0 and you wouldn't bet against them going 5-0. As fun as all the booing and songs about the likes of Smith are you know they'll thrive on that. They won't take their foot off the pedal the way we do and will relish the chance to stuff us 5-0.
