Sky have changed their tune & now saying TAA IS included. Wonder who misses out... Trippier? Or even Saka?

Will most likely be Saka I'd say. As mad as it is I think it'll be 4 right backs. If Maguire is injured we'll most likely play 5 at the back, so Walker will be playing RCB.

TAA is not good enough defensively - Also people who call him Trent and aren't his friends or family are for the watching.

One of the right backs should have been dropped from squad for Ward Prowse.
Central defence looks average at best (not sure Southgate has better to pick from).
Up front (attacking midfield) good creative players but might get bullied out of games.
If Kane picks up injury not sure if any of the replacements are good enough to step in his shoes.
Decent squad ...should be good to watch but short I think if picking up silverware.

Best possible squad in my opinion.

The golden generation was blessed with a world class spine and not much going on around it to supplement it.

Now we're top heavy with loads of exciting attacking riches but missing IMO a DM, CB and GK.

I think with the golden generation we had tremendous talent (starting 11 ) from back to front .

Problem was , so did Brazil, France etc

That's more than a spine , that was genuinely a world class starting 11 with 1 or 2 exceptions _110891508_golden.jpg

Playing Scholes out wide was absolutely bonkers though

And James wasn't a great keeper , he was just decent

Sterling and Rashford should not be starting.
Stones is shite.

Most of our better players are all right backs. So unbalanced it is making me feel sick.

Rashford and Sterling have both been shite this season, Ward-Prowse has been pretty decent.

That team can win it.

Not saying we WILL win it, just that that team is good enough to challenge on paper. But as we know the game isn't played on paper!

Interestingly Scholes said he felt he shouldn’t have been in the squad for the two years before he was left out as he wasn’t good enough. Was a bit taken back when he said that.
