No Hill on Sunday, I have been told Police will not allow it this Sunday!!!. Apparently this happens on certain games when Northampton are playing at sixfields....
You wouldn't need 1000 police officers though would you really. A handful of police and a couple of signs, and the hope that if it is closed our fans won't be bellends about it and respect the decision.

Protest en mass outside the ricoh then
Same sentiment , a few emails towards local and national press , if we're all lazy as you ' jokingly ' tell us then no one will
P Show
Also none of you get accused of watching a game for free , obviously you'd need to get numbers like the coventry walk to show it was successful
You will the same amount of Sky coverage as standing on a Hill mate , the protest thing is becoming a hated lonely figure , you only have to hear the lack of sisu out chants at away games to see that
Do the ricoh protest , it's in coventry , if you're as sure as you think you are regarding numbers then loads will surely turn up
I for one am sick and tired of , well known sisu out and Jimmy Hill attendees rejecting our right not to protest -
If you were behind the goal sunday you would have seen one calling out the whole crowd as wankers because we wouldn't join in , take me home ricoh ' song , but now you're blindly asking us to stand shoulder to shoulder with the same people on the Hill?
It's been proved the Hill protest isn't the greatest , time for another direction , protest at ricoh during games

Why on earth would anyone want to stand outside an empty stadium while a game is live on tv?
We need everyone to see we do not accept this situation.
Stop being one of these lazy people and go watch a free game and make a statement at same time?
Watch a free game with most the pitch blocked by a stand?
I'm going just to make a point, it will frustrate me if I try and watch the game.
Also from above. As for standing outside the Ricoh, what would be the point? No one would even know we were there!
Get over to Northampton for a one off at least, who knows it may improve our case in respect of showing fans are there but they don't support playing in Northampton.

Your a fragile one if one fan has put you off protesting for what is right !!!!
It hasn't , but a few around me wanted to knock him out , I'm not into that kind of thing , but if I stood at the front and called everyone a wanker , then I must belooking for retaliation , was it you?
The guy in question has been very vocal all last season in ricoh and this season no the Hill , if he thinks calling people a wanker is going to get him
onside then fair play to him , but I can tell you it's not the way forward is it
I'd love to join, however my daughter is mascot for the day. It's our first match this season. We've missed going so much! I wondered how I'd feel about it bit I'm actually looking forward to it. I'd like to ask, while I'm here that anyone protesting, amongst the anger, remember my daughter and the other children that will be there. They only want to see Sam and their heroes playing the sport they love! Send the message but don't ruin their experience. They're at the age we all were when we fell in love with the game and the sky blues.
No its not the right way i agree.
I didn't hear said person but that is probably down to where i was plenty were singing take me home.
At the end of the day we all should know the difference between right and wrong.
It is wrong that we are playing home matches at Sixfields !!!!!

Except when I did, we finished 6th in Division 1 with packed crowds playing superb football in the best kit we've ever had and performing in our home City !! Oh for 77-78 again !
Mrpipes,
We all have our own opinion on how we should protest and most of us respect that. Most City fans believe that the most effective action is to starve the owners of income, that's just another opinion.
Do not think that one man giving abuse is reflective of the majority or the people on the Hill. To do so is to be as small minded as he is.
As for the bloke on here telling us that the Hill is to be closed off by the Police, he is either a wum or SISU imposter. I am expecting the usual cries of 'paranoia' for the accusing him of the latter but I really would not be surprised, nor would I be surprised if any scuffles between the Hillers and fans inside the ground had been planned. These are very clever and underhanded people that run our club.
Would you be so sure of non attendance if we played in nuneaton?
I'm not too fussed about going to Northampton as I go to support the team and it's probably closer as well. But what I don't get is all those that are against the move to Northampton appear on the hill, now of course everyone had there right to protest and Sunday will be a great example but if your that against the move why come over anyway ?

Is it honestly that difficult to understand?
I reckon. Boycott like thousands of others.

There is no doubt that the vast majority are simply boycotting - myself included.
What I was responding to was the professed inability to understand why some of the people who disagreed with the move of the club to Northampton would go to Northampton (i.e. where the club has been moved to, where it is now playing its matches) to protest.
Bluntly if this is beyond anyone's comprehension......... - well, it's really not that complicated.
Because we need to keep showing our distaste in what is happening.
If more people turned up each week then it would have been harder to ignore but people would rather slag off others actions. I for one feel better going onj the hill and tieing ribbons around the City that is my choice, you feel sitting at home will suffice that is your choice, others feel that packing out the Ground will work that is there choice.
To many people slag off any thing that is mentioned even the march was slagged off when it was being organised.
Shame really people should be allowed to do what they feel is right without all this constant abuse and being called unprofessional and the likes (after all most of us aren't professionals or even want to be).
The only thing most of us disagree with is who's fault it all is and the % of that blame. ( I for one blame SISU 90% others ACL
But the one thing is most of us are United in Coventry should play in Coventry.
Ha Ha Ha.....That is Paranoid as fuck though!
Ha Ha Ha.....That is Paranoid as fuck though!
To suggest that SISU have orchestrated a couple of pissed blokes to shout at each other in Northampton is ludicrous in the extreme......Ha Ha Ha.
PS: Whilst I don't believe it, it is certainly not beyond the realms of possibility that the police decide to block access to the hill based on fans internet activity suggesting missles & fireworks being launched from there.....just saying....
and yet it's beyond the realms of possibility that SISU could orchestrate anything that works in their favour? Something as simple as a bloke causing trouble on the Hill. I'm not saying it's likely but you shouldn't rule it out, to do so would be naïve.
