Eviction notice (1 Viewer)

The club for whatever reason decided to go public with the eviction notice, why?

They said in their statement that they would have preferred to deal with this privately so I have to assume it was leaked.

I'd be amazed if Doug King is the prime mover in this
As I said in earlier threads when I asked someone who hears everything that's going on in the football world who DK was he said 'Mike Ashley's front man'
If he isn't MA's man he's likely to be performing that role for someone else
We'll know soon enough as things seem to be moving fast now
Ashley seems to hold all the cards
Didn't someone early on in the thread find out that Doug King and SISU share the same registered offices?

You put your feet up mate and we'll wait for someone else to give us the details.

I asked Doug King to look after it and he put it in an envelope with the documents relating to his city bid and he's misplaced it. I'm sure it will turn up soon.

It doesn't make sense
But then lots of other things in this don't
But that *really* doesn't make sense. Not just on a ha ha ha who would do such a thing, but actually on a you'd have to be in need of sectioning type level.

A good conspiracy at least needs a plausible 'out'!

Still think mine is best in that the eviction now gives SISU and King an out for the takeover not happening. Perfect reason for the EFL not to sanction it.

Why would FG leak them issuing an eviction notice. I know the club appeared to respond to a story Simon Gilbert had got from somewhere but I highly highly doubt it was from FG.

I said earlier sisu are proposing to be a 15% partner to King but have refused to sign a mirrored deal to use/play at the CBS got to make the EFL think a bit.

I have seen situations wherein, when a change of ownership is intended, the old owners (SISU in this case) are precluded from making new agreements (e.g staff pay, staff numbers, supply contracts) before the change has been effected. Continuation of the previous licence would be fine, signing a new one could be problematic if such an agreement was in place.

The Oxford lease runs until 2026 then they need to find a new home. They are currently scoping a site just outside of Kidlington for an 18,000 stadium. Lots of local opposition as you might expect. Kassam wants to re-develop the current site and get rid of the 3 sides.
Think their council is happy to help them try and move. Didn't kassam sell the club but keep the stadium? Was always suspected he wanted to level the ground and redevelop the site
