Hilton app shows a availability up to then and it’s not available from 18th Dec until 7th Jan.
Other than the football assume there is not a lot going on there conference wise over Xmas so could just be the famed maintenance work. Unless Ashley wants the place to himself, Partridge style.

This is what’s bizarre about the takeover - we currently have owners who aren’t bothered about taking us out the city.Ian King on Sky News just interviewed Michael Murray (Chief Executive of Fraser Group) and at the end of the interview asked about the acquisition of CBS arena. Murray confirmed planning for company headquarters in Coventry area and made sense to invest in local sporting stadium, didn’t want to speculate on rents going or and down.
”Looking forward to working with the football club for many years to come, and want to build a positive relationship with them”
Make of that what you will
Is that O’Day you’re talking about? Got myself and Philosoraptor mixed up (easy done) and then goes on calling people c***s. Just mute as I have, he’s full weight that one.Speaking of talking shit, you've got me blocked and when I comment on what a wanker you are you usually ask someone else what I've said.
There are still some excellent councillors
Good site.xnxx.com has a blue setting. My friend told me this.

what is their plans for the stadium should this happen? What’s their motive for owning a loss making sports stadium?
im sure we’ll sign a deal but say Joy liquidates us, what’s he gonna do with a empty football stadium (extreme circumstances I know)
Unpopular opinion:
Delapidations allegedly running at £1m per year open. Ok. Not all stadium and not all realistic.
Even if stadium delapidations are half, our rent doesn’t cover that plus power and finance costs.
If a mediator got involved even then it’d be difficult to argue the case for CCFC having a low rent.
Flip side is the (£1m / year?) stadium naming rights. CBS made it conditional that CCFC play there so in effect CCFC pay their way indirectly. That needs sorting out and CBS have some cards to play.
Flip side 2 is if MA names the arena after Sports Direct. CCFC need to push forward the notion that CCFC being there contributes to the advertising value in place of the £1m lost from CBS.
This should be obvious but in the case of CCFC SISU I’m not sure they have a grasp. (If they do read this forum then I hope they pay attention to some of the good points made by other posters.)
The unpopular bit:
If Wasps were to bounce back and pay towards some stadium overhead / create extra advertising revenue would that reduce pressure on CCFC rent (in the event of some kind of intervention/mediator)?
Reduce pressure on pitch by having lesser cup games at the satellite towns.
I’m no Wasps fan, just don’t want CCFC having a £1m plus rent.
Personally I’d rather they didn’t, but it’s something to consider.
How about Ashley doesn’t want the club and bought the stadium because he thought he could make money on it by developing it? And King has bought the club and is waiting on EFL approval?
Nah, just too out there as a theory, sorry lads.
Course but no statements from fg have said anything about owning the club just working closely withWhy buy a stadium to develop when he'd know it would massively p*ss off the local population - and would also gain massive negative press and PR?
Buy a bit of land and develop that, no?!

He bought it for the same reason everyone else wanted to buy it. He got it cheap and could see potential for money to be made.
He’s said he wants to have his base of operations here and likes sport. I guess we’ll see what his plans are, only thing I’ve heard so far is hotel and car park.
Yeah the base of operations will be Ansty.
Surely Sisu cant sign any agreement because it would be null and void , with the new owner (King) taking over, there would have to be a new agreement with king, so he will need to sign any new agreement not Sisu, when he completes buyout.

Outside of Coventry boundary, Its Rugby and thus Warwickshire and they have refused planningWhich is here?
I think you are wrong. Why do we need to sign a new agreement , its because there is a new owner of the ground, same there will be new owner of club , same applies. No? CCFC would be signing the agreement. Otherwise we’d also need to renegotiate every player contract on takeover.
Think Ashley made abundantly clear during his time at NUFC and by the way he treats his staff at SDRegardless if he owns us or not, it would still be a dick move to 'redevelop' the Arena without CCFC due to the negative reaction/PR it would receive when he could buy any plot of land and build from new.

Interesting how Maton didn't seem to know if Ashley could knock it down and build a warehouse.

Negative PR means the square root of fuck all to him

He has to keep it as a sporting facility as designated by Sport England. To do anything else he would have find another sporting location.
Same problem (?) as Ryton
'Could see potential for money to be made'. What from? The club? Cov in the EPL is surely his quickest way to enhancing his bank balance I would've thought.
Kicking us out for Arena re-development would garner a lot but not as much as EPL cash.
Don’t think an application has been made yet has it? Still in consultation according to a mate of mine who lives in one of the villages in the area being consulted.Outside of Coventry boundary, Its Rugby and thus Warwickshire and they have refused planning
He explicitly said he thought he couldn’t. And that it has to be used as an arena.

Might want to when we've built our Warwick Uni groundI have no idea where this mad notion that he wants to knock the ground down has come from.
