He had knee issues while he was here as well, doesn't he have chronic tendonitis? Which perhaps contributed to the patella tendon rupture

Out of contract at Sunderland, wonder if they will keep him on for a year or whether he's totally finished. Real shame

Didn’t they keep him on for this season while he was injured.

Western United play Melbourne City (owned by Manchester City’s owners) for the Australian A-League title on Saturday. Western United’s manager is John Aloisi!

The manager of Notts County has left for Forest Green, it will be interesting to see if Doyle follows him there or takes over as manager.

Ben Turner, somehow only 34 years old, has signed for Ilkeston Town.

He was on the Under the cosh podcast fairly recently, he signed for Buxton as a bit of a favour and to dabble in mon-league (I think Buxton had a relatively wealthy backer).

I noticed that Jamie Ward had also gone from Buxton to Ilkeston so I wonder if there is some cross over of ownership/manager/agent.

I’d recommend giving the Luke Steele one a listen to if you haven’t already, covers a bit about his time at Cov

That’s worth listening to purely for the stuff on McIndoe

6 months I read? Either way hope he finds a mindset to enjoy and cherish each day
Poor bugger couldn't get a GP appointment during the lockdown so by the time of the diagnosis he was stage 4 and has refused chemo as it would have only given him another 6 months
Whether it would have made any difference if he'd been seen earlier is hard to say
Got to say he's a top man based on how he's handled it
