Jodi Jones gone to Notts County...a big drop.
Duncan Ferguson going in at FGR, him and Doyle as a managerial duo?
Dave Bremang released by Crawley
Doh...9 minutes late
David Bremang left Crawley. Made 14 appearances spanning 6 clubs.
Why take a non-league job over L2?Had offers from L2 clubs apparently but decided to take this one
His manager at OUFC wouldn't allow him to go to another L1 club
Why take a non-league job over L2?
Top half of the conference is probably a better standard than the bottom half of league 2Why take a non-league job over L2?

Oxford ave attendance is 8100
Notts Country is also over 8100 in last 10 matches.
About the same FWIW.

Totally irrelevant and of course L1 is a higher playing standard.
Just thought it an unusual stat that non-league teams are getting high attendances. I’m sure they are also exempt from FFP rules.
Maybe he can earn more in at NC than in L2.
Big Dunc and Doyle, both super passionate with big expectations of people… playing for them would be gruelling

Did think Big Dunc and Doyler would be too much 'Bad cop' not enough good
I’m surprised Big Dunc hasn’t been offered the Everton vacancy. I thought he did a really good job on a temp basis before.

Could be, hard to tell. Ian Burchnall who was sacked as manager did have an awful run, whenever I saw him he gave off rabit in the headlights vibes, looked well timid. I could see why he would need a Doyle type around to back him up.Or Doyler really is a bit shite
I reckon he’s alright with it.
Missed out on him on a free could have replaced o hare until the summerhttps://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/64426819
Ex City loanee Grant Ward signs for Bristol Rovers after being released by Blackpool.
Always liked Ward and am sure he rejected a permanent return after his loan spell. Played well for us looks like a very injury blighted career.

Surprised we didn't come back in for him then.looks like a very injury blighted career.
He wasn’t always shit for us. Possibly we didn’t play to his strengths.Clarke-Harris has always confused me, how was he always so shit for us, and when he plays against us but any other teams he’s a good player
Which was? Personally I don’t remember what he did well other than divingHe wasn’t always shit for us. Possibly we didn’t play to his strengths.
No idea! But as you point out, others seem to have got him playing well…or at least scoring goals.Which was? Personally I don’t remember what he did well other than diving
For some reason Peterborough always seem to end up with high scoring strikers and useless defence. He wasn’t always shit for us. Possibly we didn’t play to his strengths.
He definitely takes all their pens. Not sure about free kicks though. For some reason Peterborough always seem to end up with high scoring strikers and useless defence.
Maybe it’s a strategy - get the striker high in the scoring charts - sell on - go again. Does JCH take all their penalties and in-range free kicks?

He really wasn't that bad for us. Was good second half of the league 2 season. Some really really good games where he bullied oppositions (Crewe away). Then he was very underused at start of first league 1 season before he went to RoversClarke-Harris has always confused me, how was he always so shit for us, and when he plays against us but any other teams he’s a good player
I remember how bad and ineffective he was in those opening months of the L1 season though. Made it all the more surprising when he started banging them in for Bristol Rovers. Before then and including at Cov his stats weren't great at all.He really wasn't that bad for us. Was good second half of the league 2 season. George Thomas has had his contract ended at QPR, will be interesting to see where he ends up, always looked out of his depth at this level
Byron Wilson, a 17 year old right back who we released has signed for Brentford.
