Totally irrelevant and of course L1 is a higher playing standard.
Just thought it an unusual stat that non-league teams are getting high attendances. I’m sure they are also exempt from FFP rules.
Maybe he can earn more in at NC than in L2.

Could be, hard to tell. Ian Burchnall who was sacked as manager did have an awful run, whenever I saw him he gave off rabit in the headlights vibes, looked well timid. I could see why he would need a Doyle type around to back him up.Or Doyler really is a bit shite

Always liked Ward and am sure he rejected a permanent return after his loan spell. Played well for us looks like a very injury blighted career.

He really wasn't that bad for us. Was good second half of the league 2 season. Some really really good games where he bullied oppositions (Crewe away). I remember how bad and ineffective he was in those opening months of the L1 season though. Made it all the more surprising when he started banging them in for Bristol Rovers. George Thomas has had his contract ended at QPR, will be interesting to see where he ends up, always looked out of his depth at this level
