He's had a bad ankle injury I think and some back injuries. Worth listening to his Undr the Cosh podcast as he talks about it, he's got a fully rebuilt joint iirc. Shame as he was a good player.

He's a talented player who should probably be in the Championship but the last thing he needs is to go somewhere where he wouldn't be playing regularly.
Always thought he was overrated but clearly doing very well at Shrewsbury. 4 goals and 3 assists. Involved in a third of Shrewsbury's goals this season.
Not suggesting we should get him, but I bet he'd push Allen for a space.
Already been connected to a few clubs in Jan back to championship. Needs to go to a side that play a style that can use and get the best out of him. Too good for L1 in my opinion and needs to find his level from games in the championship and i think he will get his chance.
