it was

the vast majority of fans at the Millwall game weren’t in work the next day

Any games between Xmas and new year are classed as the festive period

making yourself look silly here
The Cup game against Oxford was the 6th of January.

I was assuming you were talking about other cup games.

The point made is that despite everyone being pissed off, we've just pretty much sold out two home games. One was £37 a ticket.

and those 2 league games have left a lot fans feeling why bother when the football is awful

football fans are fickle and next week will show this

to think we will have 10k home fans next week is insane

As it stands we’ve sold 3k max

Way more than 3k sold. We've sold a similar number to any other cup game in recent years.

Even Spurs at home, people were shocked how low the sales were days before.

You've missed the middle block that's 80% sold. That alone is nearly a thousand.

I'd say there's about 5-6k home seats sold. The seating map used to look like that with just two stands open.

no way have we sold 5k lol

you must be on smack

If the most sold out block is just under 1k no way have we sold another 4-5k with hardly any seats sold

you my friend are mental or need glasses

Like I say, the seating map looked like that in League 2 and that was with two stands open.

so you’re now comparing a top prem team coming to us to a team we’ve played more than most in the past 12 months

No, I'm showing you a picture of a seating map for what eventually was a crowd of 24,000.

It's always empty for cup games until the day.

lol - no you’re showing a graph from a prem team coming to town

so you’re now saying we’re gonna have 24k up there Saturday? Lol

No, I think there will be about 15-16k.

The sales are no different to other cup games. A week before Spurs it was empty.

There's zero reason to get a ticket early. I haven't got mine yet.

Bought my tickets. 5 mile run this morning to assist the recovery from the head spinning loss yesterday.
Don't support the negativity supplied by some prominent contributors on this forum.
Its time to get behind the team. Proper fans dig in after defeats and certainly turn up.

Bang on.

Probably a good job so many tickets were already sold given the Norwich result yesterday. 😁

It may be hard to shift many more now.

They can shove a cup run up their arses, maybe concentrate on getting us away from danger.

You are joking? There were plenty of posters on here saying the same this time last year (and every year for that matter) about concentrating on the league, and it strikes me that another cup run is just what we need to boost the morale of the players and supporters alike.

not sure a long run is needed but a decent win on Saturday could boost the confidence in the players
