Should have been retaken, keeper moved off his line before Hyam hit itHyam taking 5th pen an odd one
Brighton’s scouting dept haven’t got many wrong and have found some absolute gems (Buonanotte, Caicedo, Mitoma etc.,)I'll die on the hill that Ayari will be a very good player. Just wasn't the right fit for us.
We're now the lowest ranked team left in the competition.
Yeh right, more likely to still show Sutton for usCan’t wait for the media to fawn over us

And you are the shittest c**t on this forumCov are officially the shittest team left in the cup
The double coin toss for penalty shootouts is completely unfair. If you win the toss you should get to choose ends or whether to go first, not have the chance to do both.

Absolute bolloxAyari doing everything, defending and all. Looks like we missed a trick on him.
Do you still get money for that? I'm sure that's a thing! We're now the lowest ranked team left in the competition.
Did you watch it Pete?Absolute bollox
Another gem they found, what the club do with him/what the player wants to do after that isn’t a knock on the scouting. They clearly saw something to pull him out of obscurity.Gyokeres

Yep it's going to be full on patronising but I'm happy to lap up the attention for a bit. Can’t wait for the media to fawn over us
Yeah I wasn't saying they fucked up, they found him in the first place.Another gem they found, what the club do with him/what the player wants to do after that isn’t a knock on the scouting. They clearly saw something to pull him out of obscurity.

Boils my piss. It completely fucked us at Wembley as well. I read that a team taking the first pen wins 60% of shoot outs, so to then add in the further advantage of shooting towards your own fans is a joke. The double coin toss for penalty shootouts is completely unfair. If you win the toss you should get to choose ends or whether to go first, not have the chance to do both.
I don’t think that cyborg up front knows the meaning of ‘going easy’. Home tie with a packed ground in a one off game, you never know.Well, that looks like that absolutely tiny, teeny weeny, miniscule, infinitesimally microscopic chance of appearing in the final at Wembley has gone now.
Was dreaming of Blackburn, or Leicester, or Luton, or Southampton, or Forest, or Bournemouth at home.
Liverpool should dispatch the Saints with ease tonight, which just leaves Leicester and Forest pretty much.
Think that would be our only way we would have a chance of getting through.
Very slim chance now of getting a favourable draw.
Probably going to be Man City away and an 8 nil whitewash.
We would then have to hope they took their foot off the pedal for the remaining 75 mins of the game and went easy on us.

Sounds like you have a plan? I’m in!Im fairly sure I know. Our only hope would be some kind of norovirus outbreak in the Man City Camp.

Definitely on some watchlist now...

If I wasn’t already I’d be quite disappointed in our security services TBF
Blackburn played really well last night and if just a little less wasteful in front of goal could have won fairly comfortably, for long periods Newcastle looked like the Championship team.Well, that looks like that absolutely tiny, teeny weeny, miniscule, infinitesimally microscopic chance of appearing in the final at Wembley has gone now.

Thought Szmodics was a real handful and due to current ownership will probably be on the market soon!Blackburn played really well last night and if just a little less wasteful in front of goal could have won fairly comfortably, for long periods Newcastle looked like the Championship team.
We will definitely be up against it, but with a big crowd behind us at home & few players back in the team after injury, no reason we can’t give anyone (Liverpool, Man City aside ) a good game.
