No problem. just say your wife is already in there with the kids youve been the pub.
Maybe they can rely on fan power to sort it and simply allow them to find the substitute? But if we’re sold out every week then why should you get to block someone attending more often? It’s not even a financial decision at that stage, it’s about having as many fans in there to support the team.
Adult being penalised through no real fault of their own.I’m not bothered about it, you’ve made it up in your head in am.
Im saying it’s a stupid moronic thing to ban an adult from using their season ticket if their kid is sick. If another club done it I’d say it’s stupid too. It makes the club look pathetic to be honest.

As flippant as that sounds it's surely the best thing to do if possible .Take someone else’s kid

DNA testing might be required at the turnstile.
" Charlie, do you want to come and watch Cov ? "
"Naaaaaaa. I support Man U "
" I'll give you a fiver "
" Oh alright then "
I agree with this if it is just in regard to the discounted family stand issue. As a general statement and should this be used as a testing phase for a wider plan should we get promoted I couldn't disagree more
My group have essentially always said we will buy a ST for life, regardless of how many games we can make as we want to financially support the club (we have done so through very trying times). Half of us are in the age bracket where we have had kids/having second kids etc and it becomes much more difficult to attend as we have responsibilities at home. Ironically, midweeks are much easier for us than weekends, so this latest season was probably my best attended in the 10 years or so of being a ST holder.
It's insanity to me that I may be punished for not having turned up to 50% of games of our most successful period when I have supported the club and missed 50% of games in League 2 because I believed in supporting the club financially then, like I do now. If King (or anyone else, and at this moment it hasn't been suggested, yet) that he can enforce a 50% attendance should we get promoted at any stage, he can quite kindly get fucked.
Let’s wait and seeI have kids but I would never go FZ (my choice) but I'm totally confused on the approach the club have taken on this. I feel for those being affected and think this is more than just an own goal....this is really pushing people away from either the FZ when they're the type of supporter you would want there or, even worse, away from buying a ST totally.
I know 7 STH who aren't renewing....will instead go to a few games and have taken an option to get a season ticket at Racing Warwick. They'll follow both club as usual but more ££ away from CCFC (it'll include kits too.....1 CCFC and 1 RC instead of the usual 2 CCFC)
Maybe a fiver is too dull .Might convert them
The FZ was sold out last year so this is kind of the point… replace people who don’t go very often with ones who will. I’m sorry, that’s bollocks in relation to standard season tickets. But if we’re sold out every week then why should you get to block someone attending more often? It’s not even a financial decision at that stage, it’s about having as many fans in there to support the team.
Ok....straight to the point....The FZ was sold out last year so this is kind of the point… replace people who don’t go very often with ones who will. The club isn’t losing any money.
where have you seen that, I haven't seen the full conditions published? Would say more likely you can't place a single ticket on the exchange, it would be unsaleable, and you can't leave a childless adult, or something along similar linesOk....straight to the point....
2 adults 5 kids in total
Kids ranges from 5 to 12 this season....2 will defo miss midweek games....minus 1 kid for one collective family will mean they have to put all STs onto exchange and the adult and other children miss game or pay again elsewhere.....how is this fair?
Also....club will lose money....so many scenarios where it can happen .... fan base isn't infinite
That's where the club are making a huge mistake in not publishing the full details allowing rumour and speculation to run rife.where have you seen that, I haven't seen the full conditions published? Given how quickly they changed the original announcement they've probably not even decided yet..That's where the club are making a huge mistake in not publishing the full details allowing rumour and speculation to run rife.
You would think the T&Cs and scenarios are already thought through, as it would be foolish to set something live then work the detail…..?!That's where the club are making a huge mistake in not publishing the full details allowing rumour and speculation to run rife.
This would obviously only be in the case that we were sold out every week and had a season ticket waiting list...I’m sorry, that’s bollocks in relation to standard season tickets.
The club have never said that's the case? Just that adults must attend with a child.Ok....straight to the point....

Yeah that’s just not right. They haven’t found the balance right on this one. I think people will just have to ignore the rules because it will be impossible to police especially if it’s busy.Ok....straight to the point....

The ticket office has confirmed this to peopleThe club have never said that's the case? Just that adults must attend with a child.
I'd be interested to see what they said. The ticket office has confirmed this to people
Yes, it's been confirmed by the ticket officeThe club have never said that's the case? Just that adults must attend with a child.
If that’s really the situation, that is totally shit.Ok....straight to the point....

Not convinced they know and aren't just making assumptions going off what the club have been replying with to people tweeting similar queriesYes, it's been confirmed by the ticket office

As long as it's just a £6.50 upgrade to the standard zone for the match, that's fineThey can just buy a matchday ticket
That would be a good solution, too late for next season though.Surely the simplest solution is to raise adult season tickets in that zone to those of adults in other areas of the ground, so that they have nothing to gain from purchasing a season ticket for a non attending child. If adult season ticket holders in the FZ were paying the same as in other areas, there surely wouldn't be such an issue about the child ticket holders not attending games here and there. Would those adults with tickets in the FZ be happy with that?
Those people are perfectly able to buy outside the FZ right now so presumably not.Surely the simplest solution is to raise adult season tickets in that zone to those of adults in other areas of the ground, so that they have nothing to gain from purchasing a season ticket for a non attending child. That should have been the case from the start. I don't really see any reason someone should get a cheaper ticket because they're taking a kid with them.Surely the simplest solution is to raise adult season tickets in that zone to those of adults in other areas of the ground, so that they have nothing to gain from purchasing a season ticket for a non attending child. Steward match rate: ~£80
The look on your face as you get caught pushing an imaginary child through the turnstile: priceless
To be fair it’s good for the future of the club to get as many younger fans on board as possible. That should have been the case from the start. I don't really see any reason someone should get a cheaper ticket because they're taking a kid with them.
