While the football can be decidedly off they have to be commended for accuracy when it comes to the social media feed in career mode, the inane spambot replies are a perfect reflection of Twitter.

I also find that the social media thing is ridulously wrong more often than not, particularly when my game against Sunderland was previewed as a top of the table clash between me in 3rd and them in 19th. How big is this table?

Incorporated my Coventry City players into my "non-Coventry" side for FUT Champs.

Keep catching people out with MvE's pace, Wright feels good once he gets going and Eccles feels like a beast in CM.

Still quite a few Evos to do

Nice, I messed up my chance to get Lati decent. Defence definitely lets my side down

Use my 86 rated Sheaf and MvE in my main squad. Sheaf is DM ++ with the Rodri Evo on top. Beast

Shame the only Cov card to fit that new Evo is Tavarez

Quite tempted to use it on forum legend Kyle Hudlin... Purely so I can see 6ft 9in with 90 pace

Just started evoing Cov players at the weekend. Got Haji to 79 and he’s already keeping my 89 striker out on merit. Just wish he could dribble lol.

Just got the MvE card so he’s gone straight in and Torp is up to 86 so he’s earned he way in. Want to get a CB and DM in next. But I think I’ve wasted all the good defensive evos

Grinding the Evos is the only thing keeping me coming back at the moment.

I really need some defensive Evos to boost my backline but other than that it's going pretty well

My Sheaf card is insanely good, it's basically like Rodri.

I'm working on getting Simms up to 81 which will be handy.

Started a career mode as Lampard Cov.

Think I’ve got the tactic right especially with the defence easy to overload 🤣

Looks like EA have actually tried to fix Rush 🥳 was an unplayable mess as soon as people realised you could just sit there inactive and still farm GP.

5 mins matches and stricter booting off for inactive players. Played two games and no knobheads yet. The shorter matches make a hell of a difference.

Kind of hope they switch to 5 min matches for more modes, 90% of the time it's obvious who's better within a few mins anyway, if you hit a good opponent you should be able to rematch more easily.

So serious question time.

Can I have Lampard in my “Cov related” team even though he never played for us?

Other than current players I have Hamer Gyokeres Joe Cole and Maddison. We seem to have a glut of midfielders and no decent defenders aside from MvE.

This latest update seems to have fixed quite a few things, like the horrible youth academy/regen faces and I'm pretty sure the Cov home kit texture has been improved.

Annoying some teams are getting their fourth kits added in this patch, but most Championship teams still only have two.
Quite a lot of kit clashes in Career mode with our two light coloured kits

Does Haji Wright still look like The Mekon?

I think Wright is one of the better ones, and it's impressive EA seem to be keeping up with his hairstyle changes.
The Wilson and Bassette models aren't great.

Thomas-Asante, Bobby Thomas, Mason-Clark and weirdly Rodrigues (not sure if he's actually been scanned before) are probably the best ones

He’s just got such a round head like Vincent Kompany in Coolio cosplay, and he’s my main striker so I see it a LOT!

I think Thomas was scanned at Burnley. Lati was at Man City but it means that they dont get haircut upgrades.. bet he regrets the bleach blonde look now

That's good news, going by the eyebrows on the young generated players it was like they were having facelifts as toddlers.

I had some proper Middle Earth goblins in my academy. Not sure what part of the city they were spawned from

Evos too heavily focused on in-form card has stunted the growth of my Coventry team.

Still, not bad, and can hold its own in Div 2 and Div 3 Rivals (don't play enough games to get higher) and FUT Champs
