This is exactly why I used my spares for people on here I knew were fans. There’s ST holders selling tickets on resale sites for hundreds as well 😡

Should be docked loyalty points. Boils my piss across the board that, for any event. Really surprised it hasn’t been cracked down on.

May have told this story last time out at Wembley. We went to watch Eminem there years and years ago, got tickets for the first gig and they were like gold dust and we were being offered 2x and 3x face value for them.. He announces a second night so my mate snaps up 10 tickets on his credit card with a view to making a mint. Second night didn’t sell out and he couldn’t shift 6 of them 🤣🤣

So who would buy an email version of a ticket fromsome dodgy guy on the internet. You've got no guarantees it's the only copy.

Exactly, he could sell hundreds of the same seat and no one would know until they turn up at Wembley. I anticipate lots of issues on the day due to this

Can’t believe this! Just looked and they are going for £350 a pop, who would do that?!

They’re selling club level seats too which are non-transferable, if they happen to check ID getting in then they’ll be turning people away.

I hate the idea of paying £350 (optimistically, some of these twats are even worse) for a ticket from some grifter but if there are non left when general sale starts Monday I’m probably going to have to :/

he’s talking about people buying season tickets and comparing to them
It's not about who chips the most into the coffers. It's about whether it's fair to say, as has been said on here, that people 'should be better fans', taking absolutely no account of people's different circumstances.

That’s scumbag behaviour plain and simple
That’s why ST holders having two tickets is open to abuse but then to be fair I was able to buy the Mrs a ticket yesterday with my points……but she is a fan and has been to 18 matches over the last couple of years and many more over the last 32 years.

Anyone selling tickets even at cost price really need to check with the club to see if they can sell the tickets.I know the club s turn a blind eye most of the time. If they trace them back to source they could be banned from obtaining anymore. At the least.

Don’t agree with touts but if people are stupid enough to pay £250+ for a £40 ticket then more fool them

Youd be better getting a season ticket today if you go to 10 games a season
True, but again it's personal circumstances. If you are mostly on your own, but a number of times each year your CCFC supporting friends / family members are in town and you want to sit with them, having a season ticket makes it very awkward. You end up spending more on individual tickets than an ST would cost, just for flexibility. Then to cap it all, you find you haven't been credited with the points because the system is flawed or maybe you've done something the wrong way.
I've no problem with the club's priority system for this game, just people on here getting on their high horse and assuming everyone has the same life as them.

Seen many a fan complaining that they’ve gathered next to no points because they buy on the gate. That’s their own silly fault really, you should know collecting points would be worth your while at some point, no?

I'm not complaining, but for some people it's just easier and more convenient to walk up if you're free on a Saturday afternoon and fancy catching a game. Maybe you're too young to remember, but for a long time that's what almost everyone did.

I wouldn't want to discourage any fan from doing whatever suits them best in terms of attending games, the more the merrier basically. Discouraging walk up when the stadium is a third empty isn't great business.

As for loyalty points, I wasn't even aware of them until this week, and even if I had been I'm not sure it would've bothered me too much. I don't go to away games so don't need points for that, and in last October who could genuinely seen us making it to Wembley in May? So I think calling it a "silly fault" is a bit overblown; if you were genius enough to see us in the play offs at Wembley back in October, presumably you've made a fortune betting on it, no?

Ironically Middlesbrough were part of my promotion accumulator. You weren’t aware of the point system, fine. But many were. What did they think it was for, shits and giggles?

I'm sorry mate, but what's your point? I've explained why some people walk up.

We've agreed, I think, that no one would have seen Cov being here at the start of the season.

Calling people 'silly' is a bit juvenile. As explained here and on the thread there are lots of different reasons why people didn't accumulate points, you've just chosen to ignore them. At the moment it seem like you're the one doing the most complaining!

The point goes back to my previous. If people have knowingly bought on the gate and collected no points for it, how can they complain? My point remains exactly that. I know a few people who have done it and now look likely to miss out.

I know that, still general sale Monday so unsure why anyone would pay £250+ at the min. daft more than desperate.

Yeah, could understand if people were paying premiums after sell out on Monday but doing that now appears strange. Also could’ve just bought premier package season ticket if they were that desperate and had cash to burn.

Not condoning resale of any tickets though unless face value, absolute scumbags. Easy to stamp out as well but no will from promoters/organisers of events etc

Reselling football tickets isn’t allowed is it? Resale sites shouldn’t be accepting them and the club / EFL should be contacting them to get the listings removed and details of who has listed them
