I think he'll be getting slapped wrists for saying what he said today. I expect a statement within the next couple of days.
Of course I could be wrong. :wave:
......And to add insult to injury if the crowd increases next week after a goalfest all it does is endorse sisu.......
would not admit how many free tickets he gave away as they were corporate tickets ! and said we are not in the business of giving free tickets away
Guess its politically incorrect to detest people destroying the club these days! Have to say "Oh I respect your decision" etc. Well I am sorry but I just cannot respect anyone who went to the dark side yesterday. All it did was affirm sisu's actions. If you have to tackle with your conscience then you know it's wrong!
Hard to know where to begin with that statement...I'll just conclude that Fisher is a brain-dead twat who wouldn't deserve pissing on if he was on fire. Which, hopefully by a matter of pure coincidence, he is, soon.
Having now finished listening to the Fisher interview, all I can say is...what the hell is he thinking?
It's like he wants us all at each other's throats, and wants the club to have no fanbase left.
One of the more bizarre posts for me to 'like' this one but yes, it's just suicidal on so many levels!
I need to know why it was bizarre, it's doing my head in!
Liking a negative post is all
Like on facebook when people like status updates about people who have cancer, or like the fact someone's wife has had it away with 7 of the builders on their new extension.
You're not 'liking' the content, but publicly stating empathy for the insight.
It's the tyranny of the like button!
Ah, okay.
I sat there reading it back for five minutes looking for any mistakes!
The only conspiracy theory I can see that fits.
Labovitch has been moved into the spotlight recently, emphasis on independent director, and a desire to get the club back in Coventry;
Fisher and council won't talk to one another anyway, Fisher and SISU know this is flogging a dead horse;
Fisher makes accidentally deliberate ridiculous statement, making position 'untenable';
Fisher leaves, to be replaced by Labovitch, who has established his credentials about wanting to find a solution;
Parties now willing to talk to one another;
Deal agreed.
It's a pretty short straw to be clinging to though! More likely it's just a daft, plain daft thing for him to say that helps nobody!
Talking with 3 councils suggests no deal for land has yet been made, and certainly no planning application submitted.
Planning applications are public record so it will be in the public domain when an application is made.
Sounds to me like a typical Fisher nearly this, almost that type statement
I stated weeks ago that Fisher's continued presence at the negotiating table severally limited any chance of agreement.!
Why have the FL allowed it then? You aren't cracking a case and coming up with groundbreaking news.
I course I can 'comprehend' that information. My point is we already knew that wasn't the case as do the league.
Actually, the club have to play in the conurbation/urban area from which they take their name - unfortunately most City fans have no understanding of what a conurbation is, let alone what area the Coventry Urban Area covers. Yet again we'll have accusations that the FL have broken their own rules, when in fact they have done no such thing.
Could you enlighten me as to what the Coventry Urban Area covers?
Seems a decent negotiating tactic to have someone to cut through to begin with, a fall guy to stir things up and take the flak.
Means when it comes to it, his presence is one of the negotiating tools, and the rules of the game have been moved sufficiently that whoever follows gets the honeymoon period of offering reasonable terms, even if what is offered would have been seen as unreasonable prior to the blunderbus.
The only conspiracy theory I can see that fits.

He was basically claiming initial talks with these councils went very well as they wanted the investment from SHITSU the ground would bring. What proof have they given the councils and FL of funding?
Worrying if true they showed the football league proof they are gonna finance it for next 3 years this could be the start of a very long road I'm afraid it sounds like their in for the long haul
Surely any local council that already has a football club should deny planning permission due to clash of interest ,It would be amazing if Nuneaton and Bedworth gave permission given that there are 2 clubs in the area and Nuneaton Town not being to far away from CCFC in league standings ,and given the trouble Nuneaton Town had trying to get a new ground through planning.
So that leaves Rugby Leamington Warwick or maybe Hinkley as possible places

Good work on suggesting I'm a peado you strange creature. And what is it in retaliation to?
Where I said you are a mong or liked to go to gay bars? Nothing wrong with either of those things.
Where as being a peado is a serious crime and quite an accusation.
Grow up both of you
His personality looms too large over the negotiations.
Most Sky Blue fans agree that incomes have to be united; but he's pushed the brinkmanship so far as to have made the prospect of this happening in the short to medium term further away than ever.
I have no time whatsoever for councils or councillors. Despise them. So, my natural inclination should be to support the football club in any struggle against a council, or their extended interests in a business such as ACL. But I've never been able to do so, as I've always thought that Fisher over-extended his hand, and in so doing imperiled the very existence of the club. I simply cannot bring myself to be aligned with that behaviour in any way.
SISU are headed by Fisher, not Seppala, within the daily business of the football club; and I cannot see how anyone can regard current events, or listen to an interview such as that of this morning; and feel any slither of confidence that Fisher is capable, or even interested in delivering a medium term solution for this city's football team. In fact, this morning's appearance and his conduct bordered on incompetency
Having now finished listening to the Fisher interview, all I can say is...what the hell is he thinking?

Yeah, I had a search just after I posted, realising it was a bit lazy of me and I should just go find out for myself.
Thanks for the link anyway!
Cool. I wasn't being sarcastic when I said that either.
It is a point worth making though I think. If a new ground was in Exhall, Bedworth, Binley Woods or in greenbelt within 1 mile of the city boundary in any direction it would not contravene FL rules.
Someone has to do the dirty work though, else no deal gets made.
When playing for high stakes, someone like Fisher to make the play and then stand aside seems the only way of doing it really.
Not like anyone who plays the high stakes can stay after all, is it, even if their position is 'right' for the negotiating?
And what better way than soften it all up, move the rules of engagement a little, and then there's an easy and obvious way to unite fans after the fallout concludes. Next person can make a big thing of mistakes of the past, learn from them, determined to get fans onside etc... we've seen it often enough with the shift from Richardson to McGinnity to Robinson after all!
(Not saying this is it btw, as just as likely it's an off the cuff remark that might have been of little significance if made in private, and not made on radio to hundreds of eager listeners who hang on his every word just atm!)
Ultimately though, the club really should be dead now, before all this, and the fact it should gives a certain freedom to demand what the hell you like, as the alternative from their POV is losing something that by rights should be lost anyway.
That makes in many ways Fisher, bizarrely, their best asset as he becomes more unpopular, as he himself can become the bartering tool for a brave new world.
