I can count on two hands the league matches we've played against clubs the size of Forest in the last 9 seasons.

If the excuse is TV. Just how low will crowds drop when we play on television most midweek matches?

If it's the cost, you'd have to say Fulham at home will be our lowest Saturday crowd at £30. I think we'll struggle for 12/13k that day.

So disappointing after years of hearing people moan about going because we are playing Accrington Stanley or that we've had no success.

Not sure why people are fretting. East Stand filling up nicely. Only singles in many blocks. Tickets behind the goal starting to move, come the game wouldn't be surprised if the middle blocks were close to sold out.

It ain't going to be a sell out, or close to it, but it'll be 20K+ and bouncing. Can't wait.

Doesn't look like we've sold many more behind the goal that we did this time last week. There's hardly a ticket sold in blocks other than 30. Even in there, it's a few hundred.

Don’t think this is the best fixture to judge our attendance especially the walk up, late afternoon, Sunday fixture, being on telly etc. I think had the game been at Forest tv or not we would easily have sold 3800 tickets.

That's still awful.

No, it's bloody brilliant. Having 1,260 supporters to watch a league game with Stevenage was awful.

I really don't need the Coventry Blaze crowd to turn up ala Gillingham, thanks,

The price thing is stupid aswell, it’s as if people live under a rock. The championship has changed since we were last here.

its pretty much premier league 2 now. £30 is the going rate… we seemed ok paying £20 for Coventry v Rochdale

Gillingham match was probably the best atmosphere I've experienced at the Ricoh.

Exactly. People have forgotten how expensive life is after spending the year spending almost nothing.

More people = more knobheads. I'd be happy with the 10k hardcore and a decent away following. Come on City!!!!!

You said that the Wolves friendly would impact Sunday’s crowd, which is rubbish. I didn’t mentions sunday lunches, you’re making things up.

No, you said 'why would the wolves game affect Sundays attendance' and that i was talking shit on people choosing to go wolves game and not forest game.

@clint van damme also saying he know a few that have done exactly that.

So again, as youve said above, the wolves friendly affecting attendance Sunday as 'rubbish' it evidently isnt is it?

block 29 sold as many as 30 - I'd hope on sunday we have 2-3k in that stand

I know I'm being a Debbie Downer, but it feels like the squad is actually quite far away from where it needs to be.

I'm still looking forward to the game, obviously, but I am worried as things stand.

So right
It's the same everywhere really though
People who only come when we're winning then scream if we lose to someone like Man City 😉

Say a fairweather was thinking of going just to see us back in cov.

£12 for a nice sunday lunchtime kick off or £30 for a shit kick off time on a Sunday evening that's on sky.

Not the majority on here of course but i reckon there will be a few that did that

nah, people would want to be a the first proper game back

Don't think things are as bad as some are making out, look to have improved the keeper and attack and as much as James is a loss he only really stepped up to the plate after the QPR away debacle so for me there's not too much difference in.midfield and Sheaf looked good Sunday.

Defence is a real concern, particularly the lack of pace.

Some fair comments.

I have more faith in our attack now I think. Although if Bright brings anything to that, who knows.

I never liked the 3 at the back to be honest, and it feels like it could be even worse this year.

I think that we look better going forward, possibly similar but with less backup in the middle and the goalkeeper is a question mark.

The defence has undoubtedly gone backwards though. I really thought we'd have bought two starters in early in the window, not been with no new players at all, not even backups, a few days before the first game.

We may not have finished doing our business yet, but with 4 days to go it might be a little optimistic to expect a couple of additions which I foolishly am.
