Values change and events over the last few years are impacting on those values. As are technological advances. I believe these are pulling in different directions and it will be interesting to see which triumphs in the end. If people feel unsafe and under threat reason and current values will go out of the window.
And as for those saying Isis isn't really Islam that is unbelievably naive. It may not be your understanding of Islam and it may not be your Moslem neighbours understanding of Islam but it is the belief of those carrying out these atrocities. They do this in the name of their God. They do it to promote and instil a particular view of what Islam is.

there was a guy in Germany not too long ago had this kind of view against another set of people, didn't turn out too good did it...
In the real world, every Muslim that I know is disgusted by Isis. Let's not let that get in the way of a bit of racist propaganda on the Internet though! Perhaps I live in a different country and am simply not aware of the ongoing civil war on Britain's streets
Would that be a thinly veiled allusion to Hitler? ..who supported supported repatriation of troublesome elements??
I couldn't resist getting dragged into your hand-wringing session, but here goes.
You will find that most countries in the world operate a policy of deporting people that become troublesome, and definitely do not offer citizenship. This would include the likes of Oman, Bahrain, Singapore, Malaysia, Saudi etc. These places routinely deport people that become surplus to requirements. I am merely suggesting we follow something along the same lines- we are under no obligation whatsoever to endure to type of bullshit currently being played out on the streets of Paris, and neither are we obliged to have to screen or vet an entire community to ensure that they are not planning to blow their hosts up.
Personally I would not include people that have opted out of Islam, and would still operate study/work/tourist visas- but no large, permanent community.
Anyway, do continue with your hand-wringing.
See you after the next mass atrocity.
PUSB.
Really? Have you got a link?Syrian passport found on one of the attackers.
Really? Have you got a link?

I have missed a few posts on this thread but has anybody suggested killing every Muslim? It depends on what the press tell them to thinkin all seriousness, the British people tend to be resolute in these situations and come together, much like the London Tube Bombings.
Those who like to paint all Muslims as terrorists and suggest genocide, like some posters on here, do not actually integrate with other cultures themselves.
Using their logic there would be no Irish people left in the world as they were all terrorists.
'Syrian passport found' on attacker
Posted at 12:02BREAKING
A Syrian passport has been found on the body of one of the attackers, AP reports, citing police sources.
French TV is carrying the same line, but it has not been independently verified by the BB

Sorry disagree, raising children to believe in a made up omnipresent being is wrong. They should be told this at the same time they are told Santa isn't real, sorry if that's spoiled Christmas for some of you. I understand it is a minority who use religion to spread there own particular brand of hate but all armies are told that God is on their side before going into battle. For me children should be protected from religion until they are old enough to make up their own mind what to believe, they are far too innocent to take in the complex issues involved and far too easy to fill with a sense that their God is the only God.There is nothing wrong with religion as it stands what is wrong is the persecution and violence against those who have different religious beliefs.

Another found with an Egyptian passport and another attacker identified as a frenchman
Reports linking it to the arrest in Germany a few days ago of a man close to Austrian border. He was smuggling and storing machine guns, grenades.
5 more dead, says thought to be no link between the crash and list night.lets just hope this train crash in france is not terrorists as well
Schengen countries seem to disagree. Nothing to stop anyone arriving in Portugal for example and driving anywhere else without having documents checked.Surely it is common sense that countries need to know who is entering the country anyway?
