Great interview that, love Frank and we are very lucky to have him here. I like Prutton too, always speaks well of us.
Interesting him talking about midfielders and how he likes them to be versatile, doesn't pigeon hole them like an average fan. Also that little name drop of Rudoni (no other player gets a mention in the whole thing) suggests to me that Lampard thinks he can go far. We've got a real player on our hands there.

He's already said specifically about him he's got a high ceiling

Could listen to him all day.
Me too and not just because he's our man.

I recall him being a guest pundit during the last Euros on the BBC alongside Rio Ferdinand and Micah Richards, he spoke so eloquently and could clearly demonstrate, by use of graphics, his informed views on how England needed to improve in order to progress in the competition.

The look on the faces of Messrs Lineker Ferdinand and Richards was something else, they were totally bamboozled at what FL was saying.

Top bloke imo.

To be fair we'd all like our midfielders to be versatile. Good defending/tackling, able to keep and pass under pressure, creates chances and crosses and be able to shoot. But we're also realistic in that some can do some of those things far better than others so it's best to concentrate on using their strengths.

Of course spend training time trying to improve those weaker areas but until then you have to recognise their strengths and weaknesses and play to them.

He's just saying he doesn't see it as black and white as 6,8,10 like fans do, take it up with him  ... I'm all over this as i hate naming positions by a number, unless of course its a number 9, the only acceptable use of it.

He's got a bit of everything. Not only is he infinitely better than O'Hare, i think he'll prove to be superior to Hamer too.

Steady on.

Bookmark and we'll revisit in 3-4 years. Rudonis attitude is way beyond the fast food lover that is Hamer. Also things that you can't coach like his build, natural athleticism. Rudoni looks like the Prom King in a movie, Hamer looks more like you'd find him leaning against a wall at the bottom of Leam at 2am with a kebab. In fact i think @Brighton Sky Blue might have.

As @usskyblue has already noted, Rudoni looks like Aragorn.

Hamer may or may not have been seen searching for cheesy chips in Halicarnass.

OK but if you rate your footballer on more than fuckability?

Youre going to go full Evo x Godden bromance aren’t you?
A little bit but i'm more fickle than Evo, if his legs go as bad as Goddens i'll be lining up with everyone else to send him round the back of the stables. Evo would have taken that bullet for Matty.

Not arguing that more just the bling shite. Thought the complaint was he didn’t put his money in which he has?

Sorry pal you’ll have to find where I’ve complained about that. I have plenty of issues with the ownership, all of which will be redundant should we get promoted, regardless of what the accounts say.

That was partly mine but not really as we all know a loss is an annual reality
Mine was he’s not a football person. Obviously everything is rosy as we’ve been winning but he seems to have taken the emotion out of the football decision of changing manager to head coach and robins to Lampard

So I’m currently thinking not being a football man has helped this footballing decision which has challenged my assumptions

Don't think it will take anywhere near 3 or 4 years to prove your point.
I dont think he's a million miles away now.
