He could be so good for us
I’m sure Robins said before that Hamer told him on the coac after the playoff final he was offWouldn't pay him the wages
Yea because doug wouldn't pay him the wagesI’m sure Robins said before that Hamer told him on the coac after the playoff final he was off
@Saddlebrains any clarification on thisYea because doug wouldn't pay him the wages
Well they got that bit wrong in the first place. The fans prefer Lampard? And another internet sage.
Frank Lampard Leads the Race as Coventry City Face Managerial Reset
Frank Lampard and Steve Cooper in the race to become the manager of the Coventry City club, as the team eyes for a new manager after the departure of Mark Robins. Fans prefer Lampard as the top choice but Cooper is being preferred by Doug King.sportscafe.in
Yes cos saddle isn't bias lol@Saddlebrains any clarification on this
I see this a lot. Am I going mad? It's a few times now.Yes cos saddle isn't bias lol
To be fair would Hamer on the way back from Wembley know what the club would offer? Assume that would of happened afterwardsYea because doug wouldn't pay him the wages
Yes cos saddle isn't bias lol
Comment from my neighbour on Saturday looking across towards the dugout. "We already have a lot of coaching staff now. Too many" she said. That's it
And Doug isn't averse to it
But how does that then leave what's in place? Carr doesn't deserve to be kicked does he?
Would he fit in amongst Cole and Morris for example?
Would Dempster be back with youth or gotten rid of?
That's the hold ups evidently

We can't absorb without removing some. It would be tough on Carr, and on the players having to handle a second change in months
@Saddlebrains any clarification on this
Yes that’s what I thought. I thought Hamer was more of a stringing us along and it was the COH deal where we didn’t offer him the wages he wanted. He said this
"All i know is the initial reason peddled through pre season was the family in Holland situation for not signing.
It seems then that MR has seen through that a couple of weeks back after his agent starts banging on about how he can get 45k in the prem.......head turned etc.
MR felt strung along, but also has the final say on whether to let him go or not. So it says to me he feels with 15 million he can replace with who he wants"
I see this a lot. Am I going mad? It's a few times now.
Not trying to be the English language police. Just doubting myself to be honest.
It's biased isn't it? You show bias. And if you show bias, you are biased
Seen a few posts lately using "bias" instead of "biased."
Been thinking I have been going mad.
He said everyone knew he would be leaving on the coach after the play off final. Comes across to me as a reactionary thing to say and I didn't take that as Gus had directly told everyone on the coach he didn't want to be their and was intending to leave.I’m sure Robins said before that Hamer told him on the coac after the playoff final he was off
I suspect it was the 'She says' bit that really pissed you offThanks for that insight into your neigbour's views
If you're going down the Lampard route then getting Cole and Morris in too is a positive surely.
They can still work within the current structure.
SHOW ME THE MONEY DOUG

I think Robins and most people at the clubs immediate thought after the play off would be that Hamer would move on but were still hoping he wouldn't.
Same as all fans initial reactions were that Gus and Gyokeres would likely be off.
That would be a bad decision in light of recent performances.I'll be amazed if Carr leaves.
0% win ratio, sign him up Doug! That would be a bad decision in light of recent performances.
Nowt wrong with our defence. Is Ashley Cole a defensive coach I’m assuming? Could do with him in.
No, you're quite correct.I see this a lot. Am I going mad? It's a few times now.

But what about the’ too many coaches’ mantra?Carr and Boateng stay, Dempster and Delaney go back to youth team and Lampard brings two new coaching staff with him.
Doesn't seem like rocket science
Perhaps it could be Lampard as Head, Morris as Assistant. Cole defense, Boateng Midfield, Williams Goalkeeper and Rhys Carr whatever he does (attackers?) with Dempster and Delaney dropping to the academy or becoming assistant assistants
that one has now been completely discarded by the fanbase following the revelation that Robins initiated the change in structureBut what about the’ too many coaches’ mantra?
Maybe your only agreeing with him because you are biased? No, you're quite correct.
