Let's not forget that on Saturday we played against 10 men for over half of the game. When it was 11 vs 11, I felt that Sheff Utd looked like scoring every time they came forward. We gave them the complimentary 2 goals as per and I believe they would have gone on and got a couple more. Just my opinion of course.

There's no way you can watch this and say Sheff Utd were better than us at any stage in that game - 11 men or 10.

Collins had pretty much nothing to do all game

They had 2 moments of Hamer brilliance and were clinical, other than that we were by far the better team

Like I said, just how I felt watching the game. Not saying we didn’t play well, we did. But the fact they scored 2 and were not even out of first gear is what I mean…. They opened us up twice with ease. My point is more about how fragile we are at the back. We were obviously going to boss it when they went down to 10.

It’s just embarrassing. We’ve given away 3 games where we could have got more points and at the very least a system and players in place and here we are 3 weeks later and still no manager. Carr isn’t up to it and just been left to deal with the shit left for him. It’s not his fault but he isn’t the answer. Instead we have wasted 3 games and gone behind in every one. We need help and now.

Mark robins would have done better and I wanted him to stay. I accepted the decision to sack him based on Doug not wanting to wait any longer and to turn the season around. His words not mine and here we are fumbling around 3 weeks on. I’m still dubious if he knew this all along as he clearly seemed to indicate Carr would take the next 3 games. So what did he know? Is he waiting for the end of the month or is it just a case of it’s costing more money than expected.

I’m furious tbh and watching us last night completely helpless and leader less makes it even worse. It was men against boys. Really fed up of it now.

We aren’t going down. Talk of relegation battles and the aim being to stay up is dramatic and premature.

We have a good squad. We have a new coach coming in which will a) naturally galvanise the squad and b) bring new ideas.

Saturday afternoon we all felt pretty good about the performance and result, and were actually disappointed we didn’t win. We play poorly tonight and suddenly it’s relegation talk.

Now, if we don’t get a good run of results over the next few weeks then talk of a boring bottom half finish is fine, but we still won’t go down.

Even usually balanced posters have been swept up by the usual negative ones!
It's mad.

We win a couple and we say if we could just strengthen in a couple of places we'll be a decent side.

Lose one and suddenly we have become a relegation side, Eccles is crap, we need a complete rebuild. 😂

It's nuts, but I can't complain too much, because I find all the insanity quite entertaining.

They were.

11 v 11 they were better at scoring goals and stopping us scoring them.

Our general play was better, but if you're so soft-centred, then that won't count for much.

Now all attention turns to what coaches he can bring, if we got Clements and cole I’d be buzzing, would take morris though

Nail on the head, we have no consistency hence the wild views one way or the other.

We are not a good side. There are some individual good players and we can score goals but the defence wouldn’t have many players that other championship teams would be desperate for. Even Van Ewick looks distinctly average this season.

That’s the thing tho, you’ve mentioned Milan looks average but last year he was one of the best in the league.

Without Adi’s coaching seems a few players have either regressed or are taking it easy. Hopefully the new coaches can return the standard to what it was
