That Tom bloke has been a couple days behind on his tweets.
Probably spends all his time reporting on Leicester and Villa but throws in a few other reports after looking round what everybody else is saying. 😁

Tbf we lost Kelly Ohare Godden Fadz Palmer. We already had Binks and signed Bassette, BTA, Ephron, Rudi and Raphael (who we've not seen yet). Our midfield is definitely weaker. We've lost all of our experience and leadership, so not sure how the myth that we have more squad depth keeps getting mentioned. Imo it's not even as deep as last season and that was following the departure of Gus, Vik and some quality loans.

The team isn't as bad as some make out, but we need additions to help them as some of our better players are being asked to cover jobs that don't play to their strengths.

We are not a good side. There are some individual good players and we can score goals but the defence wouldn’t have many players that other championship teams would be desperate for. Even Van Ewick looks distinctly average this season.
Did you even read what I said? 😂 I didn't say we were a good side.

I said if we strengthen in a couple of positions we will be.

Doug thinks it’s down to coaching and not the players. I certainly think the coaching is a big factor in players looking clueless and the types of mistakes getting made, but the performance levels fluctuating so much between or even within games is a bigger issue for me.

Now even other managers are noting how they pick and choose when to turn up.

Looking at the drop off in certain individuals really points the finger at the coaching of the players. The organisation is just not there defensively and in attack there are times we just look devoid of ideas.

It’s something that not many Cov fans would consider, but it’s possible that sacking Robins was in fact the right decision.

If Lampard brings in a new ‘deck’ of coaches and we look better as a team and individual performances pick up, King will be vindicated.
