Cost alone will surely be prohibitive, Lampard definitely won’t be commanding an amount similar to what he got at Chelsea and probably Everton, but can’t see us even getting anywhere near the required amount. Chelsea had to pay him a considerable fee if I’m remembering correctly.

Just adds another risk to this appointment, too expensive to fail and have to sack after a year.

And irrespective of what you are saying I think he deserved more time , far more time

What he deserved was to be left alone to complete the journey. We didn’t even expect the full fees to be spent. Just carry on the formula of clever pick ups and a tight knit coaching team. Pay Lawrence and Hamer the money you were going to spend. Keep the team together, keep a Fadz or Kelly around even if they won’t play, back the management team over the new players.

Then if it all falls apart or Robins and do decide to leave, you can go hog wild with whatever you’ve read in Management Structures Weekly

It's weird that a pathetic start to the season is seen as acceptable.

In previous seasons there were at least some excuses for it (the pitch issue).

We could get to April in 2nd bottom and people would still be saying it will change.
Its fucking november. To predict the outcome of this season positively or negatively is absolutely ludicrous at this stage.

Robins had a proven record of strong second halfs to the season.

I will never understand how you could look at the last 7 seasons and think fuck all that bin robins off for the complete fucking unknown

he will be desperate for another opportunity…we are perfect for him. Doubt he’s short of money.

Says the man who hasn’t invested £50m + in the club. If you had you might not feel you should stand by and hope it doesn’t all fall apart.

Potentially a lot of Managers will get sacked this weekend so Lampard will have more thanus to choose from, possibly a couple of Prem Clubs.

Oh shit King's invested 50m of his own money has he? Do you have accounts to back this up? It looks to me like he's spent the rewards of Robins signing and developing talents.

YES! We got to an FA cup semi final, before that we were absolutely still in contention for the play offs, possibly sat around 5th?

only when the fa cup run caused our fixtures to congest around april did the play off challenge end. The players were absolutely exhausted, you could see it looking at them play.

We went into the Hull game where a Win would have seen us be 1 point behind (i think) after that they were on the beach, top half finish secured

Also the point is we didn’t need £50m spending. What have we got for it? Just allow Robins to carry on doing what he’s doing. If you don’t want that don’t buy a club where the manager has been there 6 years.

Explain why he hasn’t invested £50m ?

Potentially West Ham if they fail to beat Everton. Though, think they’d be mental to go for Lampard, the media seem to enjoy pushing him towards any half decent vacancy.

At least £35m of that was transfer receipts for a start.
Right let me explain this.

We are told SISU owed KING Money and used CCFC to settle the debt.

At that point any assets of CCFC became Kings, including players.

Using your £35m of incoming transfer fees they were therefore Kings.

King could have banked all of it, or even £20m of it and give the rest to the club. He Didn’t.

King chose to reinvest those and some more on players, the pitch, training facilities etc etc.

Ito no different to a scenario where i owe you £20. i don;t have the cash to give you but instead i give you a painting i have at home. Unbeknown to me the painting is worth £10,000 and you sell it for that. Do you consider that £10,000 to be yours ? And if you spend it do you consider that you have spent it ?

Doesn’t seem like his break away from football, or poor last run at Chelsea have hurt his name value when it comes to jobs.

Seen him linked with many clubs (West Ham, Roma etc.,) and even the England national team over the last few months, he’ll still command a decent wage and I’d imagine more expensive than what Robins was on. I’m sure Lampard could also go manage in Saudi like Gerrard did for insane money, he’s not going to devalue his asking rate too much to come here.

I’ve put £20 in in that situation, not £10k

No you haven’t. They are entirely unrelated transactions.

The transactions could be 10 years apart.

You will have made a huge profit on the loan of £20 but the £10k is yours and when you spend it its your money you are spending.

:ROFLMAO:

It is funny how he signs the good players but not his fault when it's shit ones.

I suppose he had nothing to do with developing Gyokeres from the worst player Swansea fans had ever seen to the best striker in the division?
