He’s not the manager yet FFS. Getting really sick of people popping on and throwing insults around on here for the crime of not being a fan of a prospective managerial candidate.

I’ve gone through my reasons, Frostie has posted stats, others have given reasons of Derby fans. Yet clowns like you go on about people hating people and being vitriolic because they disagree. Sorry if you’re bored of it, you’re welcome not to read it.

Read my post properly you clown . Where does it say anything about "people hating people " ? Terrible personality defect to make things up to support your point of view. Many of your posts are vitriolic , just bloody read them. Childish behaviour.

Rotherham and Barnsley actually. Huddersfield and Scunthorpe were after his first stint with us.

And yes 9.1% win ratio with Chelsea: 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 indeed
In a stint where he was in temporary charge , the players had given up and there literally nothing for anyone to gain. You quote stuff with no context whatsoever behind it .
Yes he didn't do well at Everton but neither did a number of others.

Aside from anything else we’ve done ex Chelsea players to death with Viveash. Cant we scavenge off a different big club for a bit?

Wow, taking specific stats to suit your agenda. How demure.

It was literally the stats the OP discussed. Robins had had two appointments before us so I took Lampards last two.

Sorry reality has a well known anti-Lampard bias I guess 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m sorry but that excuse is totally pathetic considering majority on here blame robins for the form end of last year when it is exactly the same circumstance

Robins previous two clubs win % in 2017: 43.4% and 31.5%

Lampard: 27.3% and 9.1%

That was before his first stint.

In 2017 his previous two jobs were 33% and 32%

Lampards second stint at Chelsea was only as an interim, so he was limited in what he could do.
That role aside, his previous two jobs were 27% and 52%

Robins, across all his management jobs, has a win percentage of 38%. Lampard has an overall win percentage of 41%

I think Mount and Tomori are slightly better than Zain Westbrooke, Todd Kane and co..

We're not any less loyal because we're concerned about the direction we're going in. Lampard hasn't been appointed yet, I'm allowed to fundamentally disagree with his potential appointment, and any process that finds him as the strongest candidate available. I'm allowed to have strong concerns about both him as manager, and the direction of the club making this (in my opinion) batshit kind of decision (sacking a proven manager of 7 years for a name like Lampard 😳), I'd be laughing at any other club if they'd done this.

Once he is eventually announced, it doesn't mean I won't support the team, I'll still think it was a silly decision, but I'll be hoping and praying he proves me wrong and wins me over. I just, at this point, based on all the evidence we have so far, am very doubtful of it happening.

And remembering the 15 or so years before Robins, of course I'm shit scared of us going back to that era. Stupid owners like McGinnity and co appointing crap manager after crap manager. I'm fearful of Doug's direction in appointing a Lampard as another Chris Coleman moment. Or Peter Reid before that (although at least he had got promoted from this league in the past).

I'm concerned for my club, this is a big pivot to make, and based on what I've seen before here, of Lampard, and Doug's impatient rationale - that we've seen before (remember project premiership or whatever it was called) it doesn't look good. Doug kept mentioning the importance of making sure we don't get relegated in the fans forum, I wasn't even thinking about it until now - it's now an actual concern in the coming 2 seasons.

I will still support the club when we appoint the new manager, even though I'm maybe less enthusiastic than others about who it is, and I'll still support the club after whoever it is has left. But I'm allowed to have big concerns, and up until the point the appointment is made, express them in the hope it will sway the direction the club goes in. If this fails, Doug can't say he hasn't been warned by the backlash of fans from both the sacking and not wanting Lampard. He would hopefully show humility and learn from his mistake.

There are other ways to support the club than blindly believing/supporting everything our owner does/says and clapping my hands off in excitement about Lampard becoming our manager. I still want us to win every game.

His entire managerial career he has a higher win percentage than MR. Certain folk will ignore that and take the last 2 stints to suit their agenda as if it means any more.

Exactly. To have a win percentage of over 40% at three very different clubs is impressive

Lampard has managed Chelsea twice! You’d bloody hope he’s got a better win record than someone managing lower end Championship clubs.
