I’m sorry but that excuse is totally pathetic considering majority on here blame robins for the form end of last year when it is exactly the same circumstance
Not an excuse it's a fact. Ask any Chelsea fan who was going to those games and the ones which preceded them.

Yeah I’m sure players were purposely throwing matches Cus they couldn’t be arsed. Not a very good motivator is he lampard if he couldn’t motivate them to get some results with 11 games still to play

My Chelsea season ticket holding son is obviously wrong then along with around 40,000 others and therefore you have to be right.

Abraham, James, Hudson-Odoi, Christensen etc.

Your arguments on this are weird. Of course Lampard won't look good when you discount half the players for some random arbitrary reasons.
If you discount:

McNulty
Hyam
Kelly
Doyle
Willis
Shipley
Bayliss
JCH
Bright
Chaplin
Godden
McFadz
Gyokeres
Hamer
Maatsen
COH
Liam Walsh
Allen
Rose
McCallum
Marosi
Wilson
BNC
Dabo
Sheaf
Eccles
Wright
Simms
MVE
Sakamoto

Then Robins weren’t that good in reality… 🙄

I’ve accepted him too but the people with their tongue up his and Doug blings ring piece are doing my head in
That's where I am with it.

Derby - Lampard is a genius and an amazing manager

Chelsea - Lampard is a genius and an amazing manager

Everton - absolutely nothing Lampard or anyone could have done. Can't place any blame on Lampard.

Yep the “players had given up” line for Lampards second spell is pathetic. He won 1 in 11 with CHELSEA ffs

Henry Winter having a meltdown over Lampard sacking at Chelsea was hilarious.

Oh ok. He should never be employed again then
What he should have done is taken the chance over the last 18 months to go and gain some experience and be a number 2 to someone. This is where I have more respect for the likes of Keane and RVN, they have gone and done the hard yards as an assistant at a number of places. Frank did about 12-18 months as a youth coach then has only been a manager since.

This is a huge gamble for both us and him, there's been a few people in the media, Alan Smith, Allerdyce and others that have all said after his last 2 jobs this is make or break, fails at us and it's probably his managerial career over at championship level or higher

You can make two entirely plausible narratives about his career from the available data. One in which he’s a promising manager who has taken teams to the playoffs and the Champions League, one in which he’s a nepo baby promoted beyond his abilities, proved by his last two jobs.

Reality is that we don’t know, but this job is critical for him. If he succeeds here the first narrative will be the one people remember. If he doesn’t? Well it’s a lifetime of punditry for him.
