Today proved again what I have thought all season the way we play takes our game to opponents and caused them loads of problems no matter how good they are, of course we have had off days but add some better players to our squad and there will be plenty days like today.

No, there have been people openly questioning whether we’d finish above last season’s final position over the past week. Whether we do or not, I don’t think there was a single game last season where we played anything close to as well as we did today.
You said "anyone who says we’ve gone backward from last season is a moron"

Find one person that said that.

Not a person questioning the points total or the finishing position. Someone that has said we, as a team, have gone backwards from season to season.

From the QPR forum today:

Coventry were very good. They are frequently when I watch them, they just haven't got enough to produce it over a prolonged period of the season. Good team, good to watch, progressive football, some excellent signings. Nasty little twt face Hamer I'd like at ours very much indeed.

Could, with another canny summer, and some better and more mobile centre backs, be next season's Luton. Also doing it on a tight budget.

was in the home end along with quite a few cov fans. can confirm the away end was very loud.
We were in the home end also I moved to the away end the others were escorted to the away end after celibrating the goals.
All in all a great day out and the sun was shining.

Clearly we don't (play at that level every week)...that's why we're 10th
On our day we're a top side, and it would be amazing if we could find that great form more often, and really push for promotion.

If you’d have actually seen our performances this season then you just wouldn’t say that.

We have been incredibly unlucky, missed sitters and lost to the opposition’s only shots on target.

We’ve been very consistent with really only Swansea bettering us.

Yes we scored 3 today and we are 10th but if you look at our expected goals then we ‘should’ be 3rd.

But our performances have been consistently high for most the season.

Luton definitely too

Yep can agree with that Evo.

That Luton away game was very sub par performance and has never been repeated (thank God). Bloody hate Luton and their bloody annoying manager. So saying this down to us not performing rather than Luton outplaying us.

Swansea outplayed us both tactically and on the ball-twice.

Whilst our style of play is consistent, our goal scoring and hence results are not.
Our biggest problem has been converting the chances we have created (hence our expected goals stat).
Today we put our chances away and won well, but that clearly hasn't always been the case this season.
Let's agree to differ on this topic.

I'm not sure you are. 🤔
