They have literally nothing in common other than both being from countries in East Asia. It made us look backwards and ignorant.

It was an ignorant chant but you could the say the same about fans singing 'Shit Andy Carroll' to every footballer who happens to have long hair and play as a striker.

I'd like to think that thousands of our fans singing that on Saturday were not because they happened to both be East Asian. But it would be utterly depressing if they were.

Edit: To be clear as an observation of those singing it, I'm sure they don't realise what they are singing is offensive and people should think first. Same with the Lati song.

I definitely don't think it was done with racist intentions it's just ignorant more than anything.

It doesn't matter how its meant to be taken it could still be considered racist and would cause the club a problem if picked up on.

It's not really worth it for the sake of a joke is it?
