Nope. No doubt some will be livid he didn’t come back again.Certainly wont be worrying about him
Queue mass cheering if he does score
I disagree with the Telegraph bollocks that cites him as a "Coventry City legend" ... maybe "Coventry City burger van and fried chicken shop legend" is about right

Gary McSheff. Then he ate them.Bloody hell, who pissed on your chips?
Cyrile RegisWho do you define as a ‘legend’ then?

You get the idea. McSheff showed promise but he never "made it" like that lot. You could go further back with the likes of Ernie Hunt, Tommy Hutchison, Trevor Peake, Ian Wallace, Dannie Thomas etc etc. That's before my era but clearly they're all in a higher class than McSheff.
Who said anything about the last 15 years? he's not a club legend, end of. And I say that as someone who has only supported the team since 2007. Admittedly that excludes his first spell but even so, it would be fairer to say there have been no club legends since relegation. But none of them have played for us in the last 15 years I don’t think. So for our teenage fans who have only seen us post Premier League McSheffrey is a legend, that was my point

He was part of the takeover. If you don’t mind answering why 2007? Did you move to the area or just start getting into football around that time?

Agree with this. is probably closest thing to a legend in the last 18 years. We forget that he played most of his prime career in Championship and even a season or two in premier league.Who do you define as a ‘legend’ then?
Considering we’ve only won 1 major trophy and haven’t had a promotion campaign since the 60s legends at CCFC are few and far in between
To any teenage Cov fan Gary McSheffrey is probably the closest to a legend in the last 15 years
He met work colleagues who were cov fans and started watching us. Once bitten by the sky blue bug your in for life!!!If you don’t mind answering why 2007? Did you move to the area or just start getting into football around that time?

Sure, but is he a "legend"?I have nothing against him , seen him score some great goals at Cov , he is one of the last links to Highfield Road still playing .
Never liked Mcshufty in his 2nd spell never think of him as a legend but would rather have him as a legend than Richard gift a goal Shaw... couldn't stand him utter shite
Haha..yes I never understood the hero worship of Shaw.
You making up your own posts?ARGH GARY MCSHEFFREY, HE USED TO PLAY FOR COV AND DID ALRIGHT AND A LOT OF FANS REMEMBER HIM FONDLY SO LETS HATE HIM LIKE CARL BAKER UNTIL HE RESINGS AND THEN ACTUALLY HES ALRIGHT I GUESS
BUT UNTIL THEN ARGHHHHHHH GARY MCHEFFREY BOOOOOO HISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
I remember it well...those were the days when you could just wander up to the ground and get in...mind you I did have to go in the home end as I was with a Gooners mate!...didn't stop me celebrating though!Micky Quinn (If only for his Arsenal hattrick)?
