It really annoys me when he does that. It's as if he is a brand new fresh candidate, newly taken onboard the Tory Party.No. How it is. Boris has been repeatedly trying to make out that he’s only just been made PM so the last nine years are nothing to do with him, when very clearly they are. Clearly an inconvenient truth for anyone dumb enough to back him.
That’s what narcissist do. Always someone else’s fault. It really annoys me when he does that. It's as if he is a brand new fresh candidate, newly taken onboard the Tory Party.
Far too much 'not me Guv' from him, when he was clearly deeply entrenched and involved.

What’s being left got to do with anything? We’re talking about Boris and how the last nine years are absolutely everything to do with him. Unless you’ve been living in a cave for the last nine years there’s absolutely no way you can’t have noticed unless you deliberately choose to ignore it and choosing to deliberately ignore it is dumb. I’m not choosing my own facts here. These facts are neither left or right. They’re just facts. Why are some on the left so righteous? Utterly convinced of their own moral and intellectual superiority. Anyone who deviates is 'dumb'. Have you considered that it's simply a case that people disagree with you and that they have valid reasons for doing so?
This government has had a number of successes and it is perfectly fine to acknowledge them while being critical of their record and advocating a vote for Labour.

Think it might come right down to the wire if the Tory's have a majority or not.
Even if they do have a majority, for those who are apposed to us leaving the EU, this subject is like herding cats trying to get it through Parliament. I think the Tory's are going to need a healthy majority for it to go through.
It is not possible to dismiss Islam as being no different to other religions, because that just isn't true. One factor is the divine authorship, this is unique, meaning the Quran is considered the literal word of God. Of course, not all Muslims are literalists, but some are, and this plays out in some Islamic states in pretty horrendous ways. It is coincidence that the 13 states where homosexulity is punishable by death are all Islamic states? (there may be one exception to that, I can't recall for sure).
There is nothing wrong with acknowledging that Islam is exceptional, and that understanding is key if we are to coexist peacefully.

Your daily dose of Tory propaganda/shite
What about Christian fundamentalists in the USA who hold the same views on homosexuality?
I'm not ignoring anything. How can the last nine years be 'absolutely everything to do with him'? He was London mayor until May 2016. He has been in government since, but was responsible for foreign affairs. The domestic agenda has only become part of his remit very recently. Yes, he has been at the heart of government for more than 3 years so of course he takes some responsibility, but it's over-egging massively to suggest the last nine years are all down to him.
There is of course one area of the U.K. that could change the picture. Northern Ireland. Sinn Fein won 7 seats in 2017 meaning that as they don’t take their seats a smaller number of seats are needed to form a government. There’s plenty of signs that this could change this time around. Firstly three of those seats were marginal. A lot of the catholic community want a voice in parliament this time and vote are shifting to the SDLP for this reason and there’s every chance that Sinn Fein are going to lose seats to the SDLP. All this means that Boris is going to need more seats than in 2017 to form a government. The alliance party is also garnishing support from all areas of Northern Ireland and this pro EU Party may well take a seat or two also and effect the leave to remain ratio in Parliament. The DUP also look like taking a hit and they are no fan of Boris either so unlikely to have either the seats Boris might need to form a government as in 2017 or the appetite.
Ironic that you start of saying that you aren’t ignoring anything then go straight to him being mayor until 2016. You didn’t watch the video did you? It talks about him being Mayor as him still being part of the problem.I'm not ignoring anything. How can the last nine years be 'absolutely everything to do with him'? Ah man, missed the point completely.
Labour got binned in Scotland for working with the Tories in 2014
The Lib Dems got trashed in 2015 for the coalition
The DUP will get binned for helping the Tories in 2019
Moral of the story when they come to your door beat them away with a shitty stick
Divine authorship isn’t unique to the Quran. FFS I used to watch Christian assemblies that always finished with “and that is the word of God”. Many Jews also see the Torah as a divine work.
Homophobia is also not exclusive to Islam. Harsh penalties are a problem in some third world states. But that says nothing about Habeebah in accounts in the U.K. FFS.
Islam is no different to any other religion other than it’s practiced in some pretty shitty states. But there are shitty states that aren’t Islamic. Russia for example if very anti Islam and hyper homophobic. In fact most non-Western countries are pretty homophobic. Bringing them into a discussion about Islam in general or Muslims in the U.K. is at best irrelevant and at worst outright racist.
Also there are like 2 billion Muslims. Making out they all have the same thoughts and feelings and interpretation of their religion is also pretty racist.
If you facilitate the Tories you will be the ones to pay for it... not them. Like fucking Teflon.
You think the hard right of the Tory party will do better than it’s more experienced and more moderate wing why exactly?
What is it about the combined intellect of Rees-Mogg, Leadsome and Raab that gives you confidence where the likes of Hammond Greive and Clarke didn’t?
What about Johnson’s record in his previous jobs gives you confidence?
This is just an extension of the magical thinking that got us Brexit. All “OH you never know! Sure the last hundred people to walk off this cliff died, but I might fly!”
Ironic that you start of saying that you aren’t ignoring anything then go straight to him being mayor until 2016. You didn’t watch the video did you? It talks about him being Mayor as him still being part of the problem.
How would you know. You’re ignoring it. Conveniently. No, didn't watch the video, but if that is the claim made in it then it's bollocks.
How do they come up with that as the headline? When you read the article it says 88% of Conservative adverts were misleading compared to 0% for Labour.BBC News - General election 2019: Ads are 'indecent, dishonest and untruthful'
Election ads: 'Indecent, dishonest and untruthful'.
Ah man, it's almost like fundamentalist Christianity and fundamentalist Islam are cut from the same cloth
How would you know. You’re ignoring it. Conveniently.
There is a lot out there regarding Islamic exceptionalism, there is an excellent book by Shadi Hamid which explains, in a very measured way, why Islam is different:

Because of the Beeb's very clear and obvious leftie bias. How do they come up with that as the headline? When you read the article it says 88% of Conservative adverts were misleading compared to 0% for Labour.
..as per last night's election debate with a curious under 30s only audience many of whom were still in nappies.Because of the Beeb's very clear and obvious leftie bias.
Brexit-hopeless fuck up for 3 years
Wiping out the deficit by 2015-not met
Cutting immigration to net tens of thousands-not met
Sacrificing Labour and the Lib Dems to keep Scotland in the union
No money for a teachers' pay rise but funding for a bung to the DUP
Creating a border down the Irish sea despite promising never to implement one
20,000 police lost over a decade and violent crime on the rise
What a record to be proud of.
Of course it is. Boris had no budgetary responsibility as mayor of London, Boris never cut police numbers as Mayor of London, Boris never reduced funding of the Fire services as Mayor that equated to the biggest cuts in the services history. Austerity was nothing to do with Boris, nothing to see here. Of course not. And besides it’s not like he did this while spanking millions on an imaginary bridge (that’s familiar), illegal water cannons which even after spanking millions buying them then spent thousands more making them LEZ compliant despite knowing that they couldn’t be used do they were sold of for scrap, or how about the route master replacements that had to undergo a very expensive redesign on Boris’ insistence as they had to have a back door for the the conductor to work from just before he made all the conductors redundant. You can choose your own opinion, you can’t however choose your own facts and he was very much at the forefront of austerity for 13% of England’s population.Right, just watched it. Funny, but still bollocks.
