At the risk of being accused of going off topic, Sixfields on CCFC match day reminds me of a leper colony.

Really? How many leper colonies have you visited?

Someone on GMK said that he moved stands at half time so wasn't on the picture, presumably others moved too?

LMAO The 'GMK mob' i.e. Sixfields 5.
Have a look over there tonight, the hillers are 'dirty fuckers', those who went to the Ricoh 'anti-Sisu twats'. That site is just a Sisu fan club, a disgrace to Coventry.

Not quite sure why i'm attempting to argue with mongs on here. People who go every week know that it's always the same 120-150 behind that goal every time.

Dont agrue. Lets agree that its 150 cov fans who sit behind the goal in one of the open stands at a cov home game.

This is ridiculous. There were 150 behind one goal and when I saw the accusation there was only 700 I did a quick count In the area to the left of the corporates and there was 500 at least and the corporate bit was full. The figure quoted was accurate.

Wait there. Are you seriously claiming you counted 'at least' 500 fans in order to verify SISU's figures? This could be the funniest thing you've ever posted

If you don't want to discuss attendances on this thread, off you jog, that's what it's about! And it is one of the most notable things this season, with a large impact for next.

Agree. Quite frankly it's a shocking state of events, no matter who we hold responsible.

However instead of yet another weekly debate/bitchfest about the size of the crowd we should really be concerned that we were bullied out of yet another game by a poor away side. It does not bode well for next season, given that our squad next season is going to be at best no better than this year, and possibly significantly worse.

We should also be deriding the 50 or so plastic Liverpool/Man Utd fans inhabiting the sixfields tavern today. They are the real 'mongs'

You would probably find that in most pubs up and down the country

Hardly. As usual the match day thread was mainly a guess the crowd discussion. Surely the funniest thing is supporters trying to get photographic evidence to try and prove the crowds are being manipulated. As a couple if others on here have said its barrel scraping. If the attendance was lower the football league wouldn't care and hiking the figures by a few hundred hardly enhances sisu's image does it. There is zero logic to it. The crowd looked about right but who cares anyway.

Main thing is the club pulled two goals back in the last 10 minutes.

Doesn't happen in a home game often does it? Must be the roar of the crowd.

thats for the match thread. For me, the result of a league one game is nothing compared to the long term future of Coventry City, who still show no sign whatsoever of moving back to Coventry

Oh dear Grendal. On the match day thread, that attendance was announced on the 16th page. How many times did people comment on the attendance or gues it before it was announced on the thread ?. From what I saw ZERO !

Really? How many leper colonies have you visited?

Old Trafford on MUFC match day reminds me of the pilgrimage to Mecca. Have I been to Mecca? No, but I know there's a good jolly few that do. Don't worry Grendel, I think most posters on this forum know this as another example of you attempting to twist statements and statistics to suit your agenda.

As an aside, I have been to a former leper colony in Spinalonga. There weren't many there either, a bit like Sixfields eh?

Any with people in.

Plus, was this picture from half time?

In all honesty Nick, does it really matter? A few in the loo and some more getting a hot dog, so if there were another 100 does that make it a better situation or a rosier picture?

It's easy if you are in the ground to get an estimate of total attendance.

Far easier than if you are at home in your dog basket.

It amused me though that normally your never seen on here on matchday but when there is a good chance to rubbish the club and supporters who go to the games its a bandwagon you just can't resist.

I find it even funnier that a man who claimed the other day that he couldn't even see his phone in front of his face (to spell) can now count over a thousand people at distance :thinking about:

Clubs have been inflating attendances for years. Crystal Palace (I think) used to record 20,000 for games in the 90's when there were far fewer there. There were many times when I doubted the attendance at the Ricoh.

If they were going to make the crowd up at Sixfields it would be better to add a few thousand on, not mess about with a couple of hundred, typical SISU though, can't even fake crowds properly.

Oh well at least Sisu will have a big pay day when we play Wolverhampton and Tim will get his 7000 crowd.

I'm sure Wolves will enjoy their promotion celebrations and taking the p##s out of all the "loyal supporters"

Ah. So it's an easy estimate now is it? You see, when someone states they undertook a 'quick count In the area to the left of the corporates and there were at least 500'; I presumed you'd 'counted'. Even if it was quick. That's different to an estimate.

If it's only an estimate now, that's no better to anyone else's estimates on here, and you shouldn't claim that your figures have any more science to them. As evidently, they don't

Funny you should say that. The bloke who has the unit next to ours at work is a wolves season ticket holder and we were only talking about this in the week. He reckons that they are already talking about selling out home and away ends.

So what? Do you think Brighton fans care now about the crowds when they played in Gillingham?

I don't suppose they do in their new 30000 seater stadium playing in front of a packed house in Brighton and I'm sure we will feel the same in our state of the art 12000 seater.

What are you talking about now? Can't remember saying anything about it?

Just that some people come on here and rarely actually talk about football.

That's probably cause the team they used to watch now play 35 miles away Nick and wether we like it or not people are loosing interest in the football and are more concerned with getting Sisu out, I don't listen on the radio cause they make every minor detail sound such a drama hence I don't comment on the football. I'm sure if we were playing at home today the board would be full of people posting about the game instead of the mess we are in.

Nor were others but can still talk about the game?

Some of us were at work, but I looked in on the thread and the bbc website when I could to see how we were doing.

Remember when we used to wax lyrical about poor crowds around the 12,000 mark............... Now some of us quibbling over whether the home (albeit away) contingent is 1,300 or not.

How very very sad this is. I cannot even be bothered to berate the owners anymore. When will this nightmare end.......................
