I don't think it's our shooting, it's our chance creation, we aren't creating good chances, but i guess your only looking BBC sport? So are probably just assuming that they are clear cut? (that is not a dig)

Multiple occasions against Colchester where we created gilt-edged chances but players were too afraid to pull the trigger and kept making extra touches.

Things have hardly picked up either; we have no hope of a takeover or ever progressing due to the fact that we currently rent off a London rugby club looking to become the biggest sports club in the city. We have very little hope for the future and it is hard to see us even getting out of this league any time soon.

Utter bollox.
Blame everyone else as usual.

To be fair something has gone seriously wrong since New Year and TM has been unable to remedy it. Not a total disaster as long as he identifies what it was and how to avoid a repeat.

I agree, but i don't think we can judge him on that till next season? He is getting 3/4 days before games- two of these are recovery days and it usually takes a day to go through match prep for the next match. Then with possibly one other day we can't exactly train a new formation, develop everybody's roles and a new style of play. Considering it will be a low intensity session as well

So he is in the same situation as every other manager? How do they manage to have plan bs?

They are professional footballers.

We don't create them because our striker is always isolated and ends up playing on the wing, then when they get the ball there is nobody in the box.

We had a few against Colchester in the week.

Not denying that. but that's perhaps the flaws of our midfielders and persistence with the likes of Cole, who offers nothing

My concern is that this has happened more than once with his teams in the past and it tells me he really doesn't know what's happening. I agree though that next season would be a fairer time to make judgment.

Mowbray settling for 0-0 rather than going for a win? Just shows his mindset.

Murphy had 2 great chances against Colchester, awful shots.

(Lets hope he makes me eat my words today!!)

I think it's very easy to say 'Great' Chances but in actual fact at this level it's not the same as it is in the prem

They haven't had the same problems of us this season? Injuries, recall of players, etc. Other teams haven't needed to change their styles unlike us.

You act like being a professional footballer, means they should know every role, every style of play, every formation and get everything right?

Every team has a plan B, every team has loan players in this league.

They are pro footballers, they should be able to switch to a different formation at the drop of a hat.

A good manager has a system to suit the players he has.

We should have won that.
This team really should be in the bloody play offs. The gills had a sniff at automatic at the start at this game.
We destroyed them last time we played them and today should have won.
What a frustrating end of season

Out of interest when was the last time we finished in the top half of a table?

Yes but they haven't been recalled have they?

You are an idiot if you think that it's that simple to switch formation, do you honestly have no idea what goes into planning a system?

Yes not having a plan B has been a huge mistake but im not arguing with that.

Yes and we had that when everybody was fit and the team wasn't getting disrupted?

A good result. We would be very happy with that if we were still in the mix
