A few of their boy band fans escorted out from their seats even before kick off  clearly trying to antagonise CCFC fans, and can only assume they must be known for it otherwise they'd have just been left be

Hopefully Armstrong will come on and bring some pace!

Still want to see him and Jones playing together.

Not 100% why AA is on the bench, has it been said?

Fly half is that like a winger?

No, it's like Fleck.

A midfielder that does go into the opposition's half, but does so on the fly.

We need to get into them from the off.

Let them know we are there.

Why don't they do that in pro football? First tackle go flying in to set the pace. Absolutely hammer the player marking you so they don't come near you.

They do do it in pro football. Sheff UTD etc do it, and get away without even a yellow card

Yeah Flyhalf, basically the connection between the Forwards and backs, they control the game basically

As in high intensity form the off? Or just a huge tackle?

Bigi is a curious one. Looked good first half against Peterbrough and then went to pot in the second half. He's had so long out from the world of football since his little purple patch at Newcastle some 2-3 years ago.

Can a manager bring out that potential or is he just quite simply not good enough? I'm still not sure.

I'm not going to completely write him off though, despite it seemingly being "in vogue"
Not really curious, Peterborough put no pressure on him or fleck first half, after making the change on 35 mins they started to press higher and gave Bigi and fleck no time so Bigi struggled because he's too ponderous with his decision making.

He's simply not good enough, I will be v disappointed if we sign him in the summer.

None of our central midfielders have any pace. In fact I can't remember many central midfielders who would play a deep lying defensive midfield role having pace.

I'd rather he learned to tackle, get stronger and increase his passing consistency before worrying about his pace.

That can be more valuable than pace. The ball moves faster than a player ever can .

We're winning this today, 2-0. Going to prolong the agony of whether we can make that magical top 6, a little longer.

Now a 433, midfield must compress when we're defensive.

Garbage. The removal of the one player with pace has been pivotal in our decline.

That's the thing.

They are playing with Wing backs, if one of them takes murphy on then we are weak down the wing unless then Bigi or Fleck will go over.

Stephens having his shirt stole from his back and ref doing nothing about it.

We're defending a free kick though rather than not gaining any attacking advantage

Correct, the squad as a whole is very narrow. No one natural to do the wide role.
Jermaine mcglashan is out of contract for Gillingham end of season

It was obvious when the team was announced it would be some variation of 433, Vincelot was never gonna play the number 10 role.

It wasn't long ago posters on here were glad we didn't play that we didn't need to as we were the Barcelona of the football league.

Can't string a pass together between us! So many have gone straight out of play too easily and no where near a city player

Sounds a bit negative so far, can't keep the ball once we get it. Just soaking up their pressure.

Let's hope we do get a counter attack.
