Such an unbelievable story.A hero of our times.
Really disappointed there is no thread unless I missed it.
One of the most significant court cases of our times.
Misogyny is not taken seriously.
Those that they can find, yes but I think they’re claiming that the husband told them she’d consented, which hopefully won’t be taken into account. Is that the husband who drugged her?
It's fucking disgusting. Are all of the others being convicted too?
It isn’t a defence even if true, consent can’t be given on someone else’s behalf. Frightening to think had he not been arrested for something else none of this would have emerged. Those that they can find, yes but I think they’re claiming that the husband told them she’d consented, which hopefully won’t be taken into account.

I think he got caught because someone woke up half way through, battered him and got arrested...until they looked at the rapist's phone.Isn’t that how they got that Manchester date rapist as well? Found the evidence on his phone for something else and some of the victims had no idea until the police contacted.

Some had been doing the same to their wives and partners too. Vile! Those that they can find, yes but I think they’re claiming that the husband told them she’d consented, which hopefully won’t be taken into account.
It's so horrifying, aggravated by the fact that there are so many men involved in such a small area (relatively), that it's clearly much more widespread in society than people would like to believe. Domestic abuse and rape is just not talked about enough. When it comes up you hear indignation from some men, but the stats clearly show it's widespread and everyone probably knows an abuser - whether they are aware or not.
