No just letting everyone know what is being said elsewhere
If its true, (and that's a fucking massive IF)That will be Plange
I cannot even stress enough how much selling Viktor and replacing him with a loan player would annoy me and really sap my optimism to be honest - Stinks of a complete lack of ambition from the club

It is the SISU way
If its true, (and that's a fucking massive IF)
It would certainly piss a massive load of fans off. I'd suggest it would risk stoking all the sissu out sentiment again, and I can't see that being helpful, not to mention the message it would send to the squad.
It would be an own goal of massive proportions from the clubs hierarchy, surely to fuck they wouldn't let it happen ..... would they?
Yup, although being brutal about it all a forward who scores will always fetch more if you're developing for profit. What positions we get in how is less important that the strength of the squad overall. We need to sign two or three in the mould of Sheaf, Györkeres, O’Hare, Hamer, even Walker who are young and have potential. If they’re in different positions to those who go out and we get a loan ST and AM and a perm LCB and LWB then fair enough.
Yes, that's the one, no cure for stupidHeart ridge rise
Heartridge Walk
I believe he will be given money to spend, especially if one of the big 3 were to go, in the last couple of seasons we've been able to bring in Gyokeres,Hamer and Sheaf. I can't see that changing nowIf I were in Robins’ position and saw basically every other side bothering to support their managers while I was being asked to let such a player go for millions with just a loan for a replacement, I’d walk.
His patience can’t be limitless and as and when he goes we’ll drop like a stone.

Well we have had it said here that if Hamer goes all Robins will get to replace him is the wages

When who goes, MR ? Gyokeres? Hamer? At some point they'll all leave. Just like Gerrard, Dalglish, Mane, Salah have and will leave Liverpool.
We don't know the future. We might get Andy Thorne Mark 2, or we might get Jurgen Klopp Mark 2 to replace. We don't know.
Really? You’d walk out of a championship managers job cause it was a bit difficult - wow!!If I were in Robins’ position and saw basically every other side bothering to support their managers while I was being asked to let such a player go for millions with just a loan for a replacement, I’d walk.

It's been difficult for a while, what is managers say, "I've taken the club as far as I can"Really? You’d walk out of a championship managers job cause it was a bit difficult - wow!!
Hmm, now I don't agree with Brighton's position, to be clear. But if your stock is currently high, and you might think it would decline due to the working conditions you were under, the temptation might be to walk, so your profile was still good when attractive jobs came along.Really? Doesn't matter how supportive the board are if the fans get on his backFor what it’s worth I think he enjoys the challenge and he probably has the most secure job in the league in a employment sector with a very insecure history

Most of them wouldn’t pay 2 quid for a sandwichNo Scottish club is paying 10 million plus for a player.
Mate will you relax. Literally nothing has happened yet you’re complaining about ifs and buts, and a comment from someone connected to the club that I’m pretty sure has been misinterpreted. If I were in Robins’ position and saw basically every other side bothering to support their managers while I was being asked to let such a player go for millions with just a loan for a replacement, I’d walk.

To sell Gyorkeres now would be madness if in anyway he repeated last seasons form his value would rocket has two years to go on his current contract too it’s down to Robins to recruit better players to play with and alongside him to make him and us better. Good all round centre-forwards like him are as rare as rocking horse shit.Couldn't see Viktor getting sold without robins getting a chunk of money out of it,as if it didn't happen the love in with boddy by the fans would quickly turn the other way.
Of course the counter argument is that if he doesn't and only scores a handful his value will decrease. To sell Gyorkeres now would be madness if in anyway he repeated last seasons form his value would rocket has two years to go on his current contract too it’s down to Robins to recruit better players to play with and alongside him to make him and us better. Personally I'd like to keep him because his all round game adds a lot, but IF his goalscoring decreased we'd need someone else to step up. Godden is a good goalscorer to play alongside him but there would be games where we'd probably be playing 2ACM's instead and would be rather toothless? (Of course depends on who we bring in for that position, but looks highly likely to be Palmer)
Ambitious teams don’t sell quality CF as they are quite rare and that’s why they command £15million + fees who would we replace him with I ask myself?Palmer has averaged two goals a season in the championship for the last six years. It isn't beyond a turnaround obviously, but with O'Hare struggling with end product and now this guy coming in, I have little sensible reason to believe that our attacking midfield is going to be a reliable source of goals. Of course COH might come back this season with a mean right boot too, we don't know, but Gyokeres for me has to be kept as one of the highest priorities.
