Why would he go there 😂 😂 there's several prem teams after him who could pay him more and allow him to play at a better level, not to mention teams from other, better European leagues who would take him.

Ideal for us, not him

I know half the idiots on here dismiss Rangers, they clearly lack chromosomes and a certain level of football intelligence.
Ranger's are and always will be ONE of the biggest clubs in the World.
Do I think he'll go there , probably not. If he does Welcome 🇬🇧

Rangers are shite. We would beat them comfortably. You’re not even the biggest club in Scotland

One of the biggest support levels yes. Just like Sunderland. But a big club?

How did the Scottish teams do in Europe this season?

Thing is he most definately would be worth that if he signs a deal imminently.

Otherwise I'm afraid he holds all the cards and value of his contract/price is going down problem being just a year left on his contract.

When you become an international player your value rises. When you score 20+ a season you are a top striker. if you are under 25 you are pretty much a cash cow. When you acheive success with the team such as playoffs, your value rises. These are the factors that truly matter. pedro is a good player and may be awesome at brighton. They see him as a good fit. 30m.
I would easily now expect Viks value to rise. Thank you Brighton! But then again brighton have an interest in Viks price themselves.
What's Viks value now? I'd have to say 30m. Brighton in my opinion over paid for Pedro.

I've always said the benchmark for Gyokeres fee should be north of what Ollie Watkins went for. He had 2 ok seasons and 1 good one. Gyokeres has beasted the championship 2 seasons in a row and has far more to his game.

Watkins went for £33m inc. add ons. Anything less than that would be underselling him.
For me Watkins is by far the classier player, but Vik makes up for it with sheer determination, persistence and strength. I'd agree about the price, because Gyokeres has attributes that don't come along very often.

If Pedro is going for nearly £30 million and only scored 11 goals this season, what's Gyro worth? I know he's 3 years younger but Gyros ability is way ahead of his. We've got to be holding out of that price tag, at least!! If we have to sell him.

In fairness Pedro is still only 21 and probably isn't anywhere near his peak and will probably get better at Brighton he also often plays in midfield for Watford and isn't really an out and out striker like Vik. Pedro has been statistically one of the most successful dribblers in European football this season. Therefore, it isn't really accurate to compare like this as they are different players.

The biggest difference is Joao Pedro had five years left on his contract. Therefore Watford held the cards and were able to negotiate a deal favourable for them. Unfortunately we don't have that luxury as Vik only has a year on his contract.

I'm sure this won't happen and hope it don't but if he wanted to Vik could let his contract run down and get a handsome signing on fee and a pick of more clubs next season.
