I’ve quite liked the look of that bloke from Swansea, Joel Piroe?McBurnie is very good, the narrative around him not being good enough the last few seasons was always misguided. Completely different skillset to Gyok but the difference is McBurnie needs a team playing a certain way to get the best out of him more than Gyok does. No other striker at this level can do what Gyok does.
Yeah, very good too - again completely different style of player (have a look at his goal map last season, beyond weird!).I’ve quite liked the look of that bloke from Swansea, Joel Piroe?
Ironically another Swede, Amin Sarr at Heerenveen is a similar style. Not as effective as Gyok yet, only 21 & rough around the edges - less direct though I'd say, brings teammates into play too.Any in the Eredivisie or our previous scouting grounds?
Was really impressed with BBD this season. He’s not the player I thought he was…there’s a lot more to his game than I gave him credit for.Yeah, very good too - again completely different style of player (have a look at his goal map last season, beyond weird!).
Obviously BBD is good too & probably a bit more of an all around game to him as well.
Not on his strike partner van Hooijdonk?Ironically another Swede, Amin Sarr at Heerenveen is a similar style. Not as effective as Gyok yet, only 21 & rough around the edges - less direct though I'd say, brings teammates into play too.
What the Rangers player?Morelos is certainly one of the best outside the PL better than Viktor and certainly better than McBurnie
That's at least 2, maybe 3 windows from now, and it also assumes he would want to play abroad.Watkins was one year into a five-year contract when he signed for Villa. Gyokeres can start negotiating a free transfer with teams in Europe in 13 months from now.
Not on his strike partner van Hooijdonk?
if he does then he hasn't watched him play as he's currently about 19 stone and not first choice at an awful rangersWhat the Rangers player?
he's really not a good player, he's really fat and mostly a sub for the worst rangers team in yearsMorelos is very good. But I would take gyokres over him as better attitude for one.
Agreed he’s gone downhill in recent years.he's really not a good player, he's really fat and mostly a sub for the worst rangers team in years
I don’t think scouts will be looking there for recommendations. He’s going, it’s just a matter of when.Double page spread on Vik today in the Football League Paper (sorry can't upload as it's behind a paywall).
Could do without this exposure.
he was never great to start withAgreed he’s gone downhill in recent years.
He was prolific for quite a while which made up for his red card addiction. Now it’s a red sauce addiction sadlyhe was never great to start with
I think if he goes on to score another 10-15 we won’t have to worry much about a low fee in the summer. The problem for all parties is we hold out in January and he gets some serious injury.Yeah unless we manage to get promoted this season there's zero chance here's here next year. Just a question of whether it's January or the summer.
In fact even if we got promoted he probably still wouldn't be here, as that would mean he'd scored 20+ goals which would be enough for someone to spend big on him.
January's the right time to sell him if the offer comes in, unfortunately. Unfortunately as it makes it unlikely we'd get the replacement in while we were at it.I think if he goes on to score another 10-15 we won’t have to worry much about a low fee in the summer. It’s a very difficult binary choice to make.

Mate why do u even bother replying. No one respects your views on Scottish football. You have been outed as bias to Celtic many times.he's really not a good player, he's really fat and mostly a sub for the worst rangers team in years
Hopefully MR and AV have been aware of this possibility and have been scouting accordingly.January's the right time to sell him if the offer comes in, unfortunately. Unfortunately as it makes it unlikely we'd get the replacement in while we were at it.
Thing is, prices and availability would not be in our favour. We might have to suck up doing without and getting the right person in the summer. As long as that happened, I could luve with that. As long as...Hopefully MR and AV have been aware of this possibility and have been scouting accordingly.
I think he was injured when he went there. They also are stocked well for tricky little AM/forwards. I like him though, good player. As a small aside, Scott Twine hasn't ripped up any trees at Burnley, so if O'Hare went in January, would he be worth a nibble, or is there a reason he hasn't?
He was pretty decent for a bit but his attitude and professionalism clearly stinks. Can't see him getting that move across the border now, which let's face it, is the only reason anyone goes to play in the SPL.He was prolific for quite a while which made up for his red card addiction. Good point. That too.Easy trophies too.
The good news would be we’re almost certain to get a bidding war. The bad news is he’s irreplaceable at our level but without Godden for a long while yet we’d be left struggling up front. I'll see what I can do.
Think the best we could manage in January would be a loan to muddle us through to the summer, and sort it properly then. The good news would be we’re almost certain to get a bidding war. I think the main reason used to be a very easy route to regular Champions League football. He has missed his chance for certain though. He was pretty decent for a bit but his attitude and professionalism clearly stinks. Perhaps use such a loan as a makeweight in any sale. Will be sorry to see him go but he 100% deserves it and I’ve really enjoyed watching him play.Think the best we could manage in January would be a loan to muddle us through to the summer, and sort it properly then.
