People seem to be having pretty strong arguments about what they want from this tbf so you might have to be specific.
At the outset of the thread the consensus was definitely to pay him what he wanted and for him to stay, it doesn't look like that is happening now. It sounds like he might have even played his final game.

You know what though, i'm over it. Get the money and fucking spend it before all our targets go elsewhere. Sheffield Utd would be an absolutely horrendous move atm but good luck to him...

That's the best worst case scenario. Extort as much as we can from the buying club and we'll welcome him back when they're relegated.

Apparently a bid was accepted from another yorkshire club he was linked with but he wants to play in the Prem, he should enjoy his season there anyway. I'm sure there is a flight every 3 weeks from Doncaster airport to Amsterdam.

Not sure he'll be able to show what he's capable of getting an absolute pasting every week. Any idea how much we're talking?

Sadly not, the airport closed last year it seems.

From our point of view if he leaves we'd be short 2 CMs, 1 LCB, 1 AM/ST. If we get good money for him there's probably potential for 3 of those 4 to be permanent players on long contracts. It's an absolute no brainer.

Oh no people don’t fly. That’s ridiculous
