My days, but if you could something about it then you would no?

No parent would choose to do that if there were viable alternatives on offer.

Loads do if the pay is better. Also what if they are separated - surely he can’t just pop in as he pleases

Think there might be an issue with a footballer going back weekends if you think hard enough.

Oddly I’ve already said that so surely he’s going to be traumatised for the season he’s with us - how will he cope?

No disrespect, but you’re probably not on £20k a week and so the difference in money becomes less important.

And I don’t know what women you have in your life but most mothers promote a healthy relationship with their kids and will let them see them pretty much when they please.

Id prefer the flight than hours on the M25. Lots commute for work and back - it’s really not that big a deal.
If you don't give a f*ck about being around your very young kid much, sure. If the M25 is slow, you still get home. Your flight gets cancelled, you ain't getting home. We might never know the reasons behind whatever he chooses. Makes it a bit daft to be giving it the smartarse act about it.

I have him down as someone who hasn't a clue how modern society works and the new role dads play in it.

The same people who began these rumours said he was not signing a new deal as he wanted an extra £2 grand a week?

So surely he wants to go home now? Modern society has more separations and more single parents than ever I’d have thought - what a bizarre thing to say

Yeah you are getting home as there are regular flights. I’m only buying into rumours and assuming they are true - bit like you

Driving for two hours is less hassle than driving then security then flying then security then driving 🤷🏻‍♂️
Kent is a 3 hour drive away - a flight to Amsterdam is what? 40 minutes? Pay a fiver for fast track security you’re through in 5 minutes.

He's contracted how can he go home?!? We'd have to accept a bid for him... are you feeling OK? You seem confused. Also more separations but more single dads and co-parenting with days playing a much more active role.

I don’t think Hamer or his family live at an airport. It takes more than 5 minutes. I’m picking up my GF tonight at 10, she leaves at 8 our time. She’ll have taken 45 mins to the airport and half an hour back. That’s 3+ hours easy.

End of the day we will soon see the real reasons.

MR hints its money - if it is he will be gone within a few weeks

People inside the club who speak to people on here hint its personal reasons - if so we will see he will run his contract down and leave

Only Gus knows, and as long as while he wears our badge he gives it 100% like he always has done then thats all we expect surely?
