- Hi, this is CWR
- Hello, this is Brian, I would like to talk to Oggy about the match today
- Ok Brian, did you watch the game?
- Yes, I was at the stadium
- Sorry Brian, you can't come on
Last season I texted in with what was clearly a joke about replacing Robins with Jackett and was immediately called back asking if I wanted to talk to Clive

Just watched Sheff utd v Man City . Hamer looked like a lost sheep . I think he knows he’s made a massive mistake. He had about 6 touches in the second half. Never mentioned literally all game. He needs to come home .

He just played against the best club team in the world on the greatest stage. Yeah I'm sure he's missing Ryton.

TBF to the came very close to a good result there.
But domination and spurned chances doesn't decide matches it never has. Blackburn smash and grabbed at Watford.

It’s a fan vote, hence the average score. Man City playes are obviously judged to a higher standard than a newly promoted team.

I didn’t watch it and it sounds like he wasn’t very involved so it could just be the Sheff U fans voting with the hype from the last game etc (or Cov fans voting on it as Grendel said, although would be quite a weird thing to do). I was just sharing it as it was quite funny in contrast to Burys post.

I watched the second half, apart from one blocked shot, he did nothing.
Not knocking him just being factual.

I watched most of the game and Sheff utd was utter shite . Hamer was nowhere to be seen. I know MC are unbelievably good but to vote Hamer MOTM for them is utterly bollox with six touches in the second half and similar in the first half . He looked so deflated. I wish him well . He was at the game yesterday , he love cov he loves the SBA I hope he is happy I’m sure he is ££££ but money isn’t everything so they say

I watched the game.
Hamer looked like a Championship player in a Championship team chasing shadows against the best club side in the world.

How many times did we play against Man City?

Yep, fair point as I said earlier. But he could have delivered more for them if given a bit more freedom. There was a point when SU had a dangerous play down the right and he was hanging outside the box when a few yards forward he could’ve got a shot away. Clearly an instruction to hang back, but as you say it is MC, so perhaps understandable overall, but sometimes player instinct should step in? At least he was playing down the left in this match, last time against Forest he was wide right - for the first half at least.

It's only a good point or win if you don't concede any chances at all

Against that Man City team not conceding any chances is probably worth a win! Least Sheff U looked more competitive than Luton or Everton have in their games so far. Think Archers a good signing for them too.
