Hi all,
I'm a regular onlooker here, I used to be fairly active with posts etc. I tried to get to as many games as I could last season with my five year old son, although towards the latter half, finances were dwindling and it became difficult, ending in disappointment for my son again with me not being able to afford Wembley for the second year running.
My relationship with my sons' mother has recently ended and am now living on my own, so obviously more outgoing from my own income (Not very high due to being a carer - low wages). Not only that, the time I get to spend with my kids is just so much more valuable, as it isn't as frequent.
Anyway I'm not here to beg, just wanted to flag up my interest in tickets or what have you, as I just know I'm going to struggle massively to get my son to matches this coming season.
Hope you're all doing well.
Dan
You've lived on the IOW for too long mate ha.I'll stick a quid in, but how do I get my change?

Ahh thank you so much, you have no idea how much it would mean not just to me, but my son too. He's sky blue madHi mate, sorry to hear about your situation. Promise me if we get to Wembley again (not that far fetched) you’ll post up and give us a chance to make sure you and your lad get there.
That's so kind of you! There really is some great people on here, restoring my faith in humanityGutted that your son has missed Wembley twice. Seriously if it happens again any time soon, speak up and I will chip in towards the costs, and I am sure based on this thread alone that others would as well. Just speaking up in this thread takes a lot of guts.
I don't know how they are going to decide who gets the tickets here (half decided by the forum, half decided by the club?), but I hope that your name is in the hat. If you don't get it then I'd love to buy your son a JSB membership then any time that you do go it will be free to take him along with you. Drop me a message once it has been decided.

Quick update for all.
Senior individuals at the club contacted me today and confirmed that they would honour the early bird prices. This would be from £299 for an adult and the £25 if a junior JSB. They have also generously offered to provide an additional ST and JSB package to whatever we can raise and fund. They have said to get in touch with Shelagh in the office on this.
To date, we have enough for just over 3 sets of Adult + JSB, in addition to the clubs donation takes us to 4 sets. Another £200 would enable us to make it 5 sets of parent & child combinations which would be fantastic.
I am away camping for the next few days so I suggest we leave open as some fans have contacted and asked if it can stay open until pay day.
I would like to propose that I liaise then with Nick and others on this forum on how best to move this forward with individuals.
Initial view on this would be:
Group from here to receive nominations
Decision made
Contact details passed to the club for issue of tickets etc
I will transfer the fund direct to CCFC for those tickets
This way, all of you can be assured that there is nothing being gained by any individual or funding my own ticket or anything not appropriate.
So please continue to donate, lets really make this double digits with people we can help.
Finally, thank you Nick, SBT, all of you for allowing this to happen, and CCFC for throwing in the additional tickets and early prices. I genuinely believe this wouldn't have happened without the key people being involved at the club on this (Thanks Old Fiver)
You are all very truly generous individuals and an amazing response.
Further donations can still be made, link below

Whoever is chosen should be allowed to remain anonymous if they wish five sets would be amazing there have been some very generous donations
Yep, no point plastering it all over the internet if they have struggles of any sort etc but it would be good to hear from them as to how it made a difference
If they do we shouldn't moan, it's a good news storyHave the local rag picked up on it yet
Skinflint!Jordan Shipley has just donated £50
Players & fans pulling same way. Can’t remember last time CCFC really felt like a club/community. Good on Shipley.
