That about covers it!
47 is about all we can get. And Barnsley and Notts Forest have got 47 already.
Notts Forest have a soft one last against Portsmouth who's heart isn't likely to be in it about then.
Barnsley could loose all 3, their games are tough, Bristol are their softest opponents but they're gonna' fight like stink!
Bristol only have 44 and their games are stiffest, they might flop and finish on 44!
we have every prospect of getting between 4-7 pts in our 3 games.
imp:
How can Bristol flop and end on 44 and Barnsley lose all 3?? They play each other next week.
What worries me is they both play teams on the last day who it looks like will have nothing to play for.
In many ways, we just need to win our two home games and see where that leaves us and whether Southampton need anything from the last game....

"We are no nearer achieving our task than 6 weeks ago....so a monumental improvement needed in the next 4 games."
True, but our recent form is good, and it depends who you are playing - Southampton is a tough one but the other three are softer than games relegation rivals are facing.
"Good football? I see low-risk football....keep possession and try not to lose games seems to be AT's tactic...and that won't keep us up IMO."
I don't think that's fair, I think we lost against Bristol because he (Thorn) was trying to win it. On reflection 1 point would have been invaluable!
every team has something to play for on the last day. every league place is worth money.
also, professional pride and integrity.
