Gutted that Sheaf is out.

Though that is the strongest bench we've had in forever, nice to have some options for once.

We won't no, and a big reason is because we didn't recruit a proper Gus replacement
FFS, who did you want to replace Gus - let's say it was Billy Bollocks, and he'd got injured, just like Sheaf. What are we moaning about then, not signing another one too. Last season we had Palmer, O'Hare, Hamer, Godden all out - still finished 5th. All clubs get injuries.

Complete nonsense, he was pivotal in getting us to the playoffs.
I didn’t see anyone complaining about him when we beat Middlesbrough away in the semis.
The people you are arguing with have no football knowledge.
In an ideal world i wanted us to bring in another midfield player. Yes it’s a major blow that Sheaf is out but it’s not like he’s a match winner. Kelly and Eccles sitting with Ayari getting forward could work. I’m not saying it will but it’s not like they’re shit players all of a sudden

eh?

The point is one injury in midfield reduces us to a Kelly-Eccles pairing which completely lacks quality. If we had a proper Gus replacement he'd be starting tonight in place of one of those two.

I don’t understand why people defend Kelly so much, yes he’s captained us in a play off final but didn’t really have anything to do with us getting there other than a couple of decent performances as an emergency. He’s a L1 player, no other team would have him in their squad let alone starting in this league. He’s been brilliant for us, and I have no problem with him for the record.

A bunch of fucking overdramatic, constantly negative morons on here. The criticism of Eccles is pathetic. And now, because Kelly is starting, we're definitely losing it. Fuck right off, you melts.
They’re just clueless cunts mate. We might lose the game, who knows but the way people talk about players that were pivotal in us reaching the play off final is embarrassing, they should be ashamed

Is anyone actually being negative about Eccles? The point is there's absolutely no depth in that position now. What if Kelly can't even last 60 minutes.

What if my auntie had bollocks? She’d be my uncle. Honesty the disrespect towards Kelly is pathetic

People backed themselves into a corner saying we didn't need another central midfielder and now they are doubling down to an embarrassing, almost aggressive, for some reason, extent. It was clear as day that we were short of quality there and a real error that it couldn't be resolved before deadline day.
