Our fans expect every new signing to be straight into the side . That is progress folks, squad depth means good players are on the bench. It means they don't get rushed into the side, learn our system, earn your place.
To be fair, we did ship 3 really poor goals last time out, it's understandable that people would think your marquee defensive signing might come straight in.

Also odd not to start Kitching having chased him all summer
Binks has been here longer and trained with squad longer.

We didn't chase Kitching all summer for one away game at Hull. So the fact he has only made the bench at his first opportunity is no fucking drama!

Thomas was at fault/involved for all of them and he's gone straight out the side (which I think is harsh tbf).

A marque signing who has had a dip in form and we have a very good loan in Binks who has had to be patient. Thomas who has been very good played a big part in shipping those 3 goals has been dropped.

So perhaps it has been addressed while trying to keep the back three fairly settled with those that have trained the most together.

The Kelly disrespect is pathetic
It’s not when you look at where we want to be, he might be okay for a game or two but we really shouldn’t be relying on him as our first backup midfielder. Compared to the rest of the team he stands out like a sore thumb to me. Great character and every respect to him but he’s just not at the level you’d expect for a top 6 team in this particular championship season.

I’m well nervous for this game, I think we’d be lucky to get anything out of it tbh, really odd team sheet as well. I’m surprised we’re not starting Sakamoto over Ayari, that kid really gives his all and can’t get a look in for some reason, shame really.

There isn't a squad in the Championship or the Premier that is where they want to be. It is where managers earn their corn. To be a manager means manage with what you have.

Good feet from Ayari after the freekick, was definitely fouled.

Kelly doing the Kelly things well (not passing).

MVE looking much better (I had to miss a few games through an enforced holiday, so not seen him since first few)

Lati doing okay but been caught out with the ball over the top a few times.

Okay start for an away game I guess.

Agree 100%, we need to control the midfield more, particularly in a frantic game like this.

That is where one up top and having another man in midfield helps. Away I would rather try and get control of the game then turn the screw with subs and a change in formation for last 20 minutes.
