The grim reality is that Huw Edwards has paid someone to provide him with images of young boys being anally raped. Terrified, innocent children subjected to vile disgusting abuse so Mr Edwards can have his entertainment and then go and present the news. Mr Edwards doesn’t care or he’d have reported it when the images were sent to him. He didn’t.

How can any decent person believe Mr Edwards is allowed tonight to walk the streets a free man?

My attitude is to listen to the experts and work to understand risk and how to minimise this in those people that have fucked up
Have you read what the expert the secret barrister said?
If you want to reduce the chance of people like huw Edwards reoffending this is what you do.
What’s so hard to understand?
His acts are despicable but surely you’d prefer the appropriate action to be something that makes it less likely he reoffends than more likely or is it all punishment and vengeance with you and those on here like you?

I think tbf this is the real crux. To Joe public a suspended sentence that costs your job and livelihood is a genuine punishment. To someone who doesn't need to work, much less so. It would be like finding Man City guilty and giving them a sizeable fine. One that would cripple a club like ours, but would be a slap on the wrist to them.

There's fucking up and then theres paying for sexual images of children. Edwards may be safer out of prison but what about the children? I would happily put him and any sex offender at risk in prison to keep vulnerable members of our society safe.
