Careful we may start to agree with you! It is true though that since covid it has felt like a proper home ground, more so since the stadium sale.Never felt rhe CBS was home
Last few seasons it has felt MORE like home, but still lacked something for me, despite the brillaint seasons and atmospheres
But the CCFC branding all.over the concourses, the stadium owners listening to fans in improvements such as cleaning the place, however basic
And also the atmospheres, the memories we're starting to make there, and the journey we've been on there
I think I've finally fell in love with the place
Great shout, I’ve completely forgot I used to hate the place.Never felt rhe CBS was home

The matchday experience was special. Not so sure . CBS is growing on me bar than parking and getting away after the game . HR was something else for a lot of reasons, good and bad . The walk up to HR was brilliant. The pubs from the silver sword, brew and baker Vauxhall, sky blue tavern and strikers bar . Nothing better on match day .
Yes if you like a shitty, squeezed seated stadia. HR was better when we had the KopToday's fans in Highfield Road would have made it more intimidating than the arena currently..
Also , the matchday experience was better at HR around the stadium
Although atm we've outgrown highfield Road with how many we get through the do
Maybe we are all fatter nowNot rea

I think this would make a huge difference to how people feelI just wish the CBS was next to the city centre like HR. None of this edge of the city nonsense.
Plus at 14 I could buy a pint and a pie to take to my seat.People forget that HR feel , but I don't.. used to get a knot in my stomach every time we played and that walk upto the stadium from town etc .. just a special place
Today's fans would make HR unbelievably hard to play at for away teams
I’m happy as I am thanks. The City has no space.I think this would make a huge difference to how people feel
crowds of 38, 40 and 42k. Down to 20500 wasn’t it.Often wondered if the CBS had tye same proportion of terracing as HR had what the crowd capacity would be .
The only one that was decent was the sky blue tavern but only when it was The Mercers , Vauxhall closed early 90s. So tell me if we had stayed at Highfield Road which pubs would you go to?Not so sure . CBS is growing on me bar than parking and getting away after the game . McFadz in the last minuteThere were some good times with decent atmospheres before, but it really started to feel like home from that first game back late comeback win v Forest.
Ever since then it's been great really and a bit of a fortress.
Yeah I know a few people who still hate the location. They class it as Beduff rather than Coventry. Was also a better pub crawl to Highfield road. Atmosphere wise though I have to admit the CBS is better as at Highfield road only the West End used to get behind them. You’ll never beat HR, but we are living in different times now. The whole match day experience has improved significantly this season I will give them that. But getting to the ground is a right pain in the arse
