I was there on two occasions when I had travelled from London only to find out when I got to the ground that the match was postponed.

I was there when Lloyd McGrath scored. And when he broke his leg in the Simod Cup...

I was there when McGrath scored too, and Brian Roberts against Norwich.

I was there when Raddvy Avramovic possibly one of the worst keepers ever to represent us, saved a penalty against Wolves in the FA Cup.

I was there when we beat Sunderland 6-1 at home in the First Division (now Premier League)

I was there every game of the 87 Cup run, and sadly when we lost on penalties in the Simod Cup Semi Final against Reading.

Pretty sure I saw Lloyd McGrath score three goals. Two at Highfield Road and one at Watford.

I was there when Donal Murphy got sent off for kicking Kenny Burns in the balls. I think this was the most dramatic sending off I have ever seen.

I was there when Dean Holdsworth scored his only goal for us.

Although it was an absolute peach against Cardiff in the cup.

When Yakubu ambled about and did nothing for 5 minutes and when Keith O'Neil returned from injury to a chorus of 'who the fkn ell are you' then ran off injured again.

Nice thread Hutch11. All sorts of random little memories come to mind. For example, I was also there when the South American guy (Jose Perdomo?) swung a 50-yard ball from the centre circle, setting it off somewhere in the general direction of Montevideo, and bringing it round in a huge arc like a radio-controlled plane right into the path of somebody to slot it home from a tight angle. In my mind's eye, the scorer was Kevin MacDonald, but that doesn't seem likely does it?

I was in the West End when Stan Bowles got the most stick I've ever heard any visiting player get

I was there when we finally got to play at Wembley after so long and despite knowing we were going down showed that we are a big club and we still had pride in it.

Although 45,000 others were there too.

'Stanley, Stanley where's your wife' - He turned to the West End and shrugged his shoulders as if to say 'Dunno' Brilliant fun. Followed by 'Stanley Bowles is a homosexual' followed by 'That's why she left him' etc. Some of the best off the cuff chants I've heard at a match.
