I'd just like to say..... (2 Viewers)

practically no one goes and they seem perfectly happy to stay there

The season has only just started they were never going to come back after a few games, how do you know they are perfectly happey to stay there. Fishers new quote plan A is a new stadium, PLAN B IS A RETURN TO THE RICOH (early quote we are finshed with the ricoh) they are not even happy at sixfields.

No one knows who has gaurenteed the 3 year year losses. Even if the projected attendances were forecasted at double what they are the additional incurred losses are minimal and can be contained.

For all we know an individual investor has pledged all the money with a promise of a return at the end of the period if certain plans come to fruition.

Not even going to try and have a smartarse comeback on that one cos your 100% right. hahaha

yes they SHOULD be in Coventry I totally agree with you however, its is still the same players playing for the same team just 30 miles down the road... which however I have found easier to fucking get to that the Ricoh!!

Do you live near sixfields

What a load of rubbish every thing you have written is just your mind makeing it all up and no real facts in there.

Am off to see city at Walsal hope they play well and win, it will be great as the atmosphere is fantastic at away matches which the fans at sixfields do miss. which is why they want more fans to go as it is so lonley there.

We all want a Club that is playing in Coventry--that is debt free--and is progressing up the leagues.

If sisu own the Ricoh by Seppala's own words they will own the Stadium not CCFC who will be charged rent to play there.
The amount of this rent is unknown BUT again in Seppala's own words it will give a return to her investors, To get a
return on a £60m debt plus the cost of buying the Ricoh--just how high will the rent have to be?

One thing is for sure, there would be no money left for CCFC development and we would end up penniless.

Good luck to you who want sisu to own the Stadium, the only thing I want is sisu as a bad memory.:blue:

MKDons away, what a great statement if we get 7 or 8 thousand going there!

It would be even better if we can sell out our away allocations at every single ground, sooner or later th commentaries on TV would start to pick up on the theme...all part of the war, each game is a battle.

Quite a wind up but produced some interesting responses.

Personally I am an out and out SISU hater.

I decided when Lukas Jutkiewicz was sold that SISU had no intention of investing in CCFC anymore. The selling of our top goalscorer during a period when we were fighting relegation started the alarm bells ringing for me.

Everything since then has proved my suspicions right. I for one will never pay to see CCFC that will result in SISU receiving money. If CCFC return to the RICOH with SISU still in charge I will not return.

My views on ACL/CCC? They certainly haven't covered themselves in glory. The previous rent agreement was very poor, but after dealing with SISU and the fact that the spotlight has been put on them I think any future rental agreements will be more profitable for the team.

The current situation - I think that the lack of attendance is hitting SISU hard. They will not get investment for a new stadium if potential investors do not think they will get a return on their money, and without guaranteed support for the team that is not going to happen. My hopes hang on SISU failing on the Judicial Review in November and the support remaining low. I think SISU will be backed into a corner if that happens and we will finally be shot of them.

Spite is a very unpleasant characteristic

This may be true but it had to be said because all of this 'im a better person for not going' is a load of rubbish. When you miss games like the one on tuesday your not spiting the owners, your spiting yourself for missing such performances that we, as cov fans, dont get to see very often. On every thread of this forum i have to read stupid comments by people spouting rubbish about the moral high ground they are reaching by not supporting there club, like they are doing the team a favour. Theyre not helping the team, theyre not supporting the team, so i dont see why any of them should revel in any of the results. How can you call yourselves supporters when "80% of fans dont go to games" ? This is just another point of view which will no doubt be met by such intelligent replies as ;
'your a nob'
'your tim fisher'
or
'you love sisu'

I hate the fact we play in northampton as much as any one but im not going to let it stop me supporting my team.

So the best thing you thought you could do to promote unity was start a thread insulting people for not doing something you think they should be.

Reductio ad absurdum.

Another reply that argues about arguing and not the actual point at hand. Well done.

And just what is your point?

You seem to be saying that all the people that have made a choice based on their own opinion are all idiots when compared to you, the only person who really supports the team.

That is a really reduced world view you have there.

My point is if i have to read about how good everyone else is for acting on their own opinion they have to listen when i act on mine. It is not the best choice of words to brand them idiots but its the only word that suits for 9/10 replies that occur when anyone says anything that does not conform with the general consensus. Further to my point i would like to know how said fans can take such a matter of fact stance when they aren't actually supporting "their" team ?

Is your point....

That anyone who does not go

should be struck off the list of real fans.

They should be banned from all the grounds in the country

That they should be blocked from watching any games on the television.

That any view they hold on football shall be disregarded.

Just what is your view...

That is basically what your view appears like.

I am sick of individuals like yourself that keep throwing insults at themselves.

"Well they say this..." "They all say that..." "..because they all say this..."

blah blah blah

So many people attacking themselves with imagined perpetrators, then using it as a reason to attack others.

Is it any surprise that you (as well as them) then get such annoyed responses.

Further to your question is it possible to support a team if you have never been?

How about if you lived in a different Country and never will be able to visit to watch a game?

What level of support fits in with your world view? Every match home away? Every match at home?

Can such people have a view, or will we all need to pass your inspection first?

One last question who made you the regulator of who is a fan, and what a fan has to do to be classed as such?

The point is if people are going to express their opinion on what is and isnt a real fan then im going to give my view. We have people on here trying to claim that they are supporting the club by not going yet people who make the trip to SUPPORT the team are some how going against the club. Within all this back and fourth arguments many of you are forgetting the team in order to carry out this vendetta against its owners. Im simply making the case that your all not as holy as you think you are. Go back to any of the first 10 pages and you will see quotes from "imagined" perpetrators.

In answer to your other question i dont see how you can support the team without actually going. Im sure if someone turned round to you at work and said they support liverpool but had never been to Anfield you'd tear them apart. In this case we are not talking about the average fan any way, we are talking about people who choose to give their varied opinions on said club for all to see with such confidence that their point should be taken as fact. These people claim to know whats best for a club they dont even watch. Give me a break.
