Was only told recently. By an impeccable source however. A friend of mine is an In law of Greg Abbott who orchestrated the move. The fee? £25k.....When did he tell you that? Makes a change from TM was told to sell him I guess.

When was that then ?I wonder if this is the same group of people who were very close to taking over this time last season, only for SISU to pull the plug at the last minute when they saw a chance of promotion.
sounds like the same as Hasselbaink........ and we don't know how many others whose agents also took a similar view, which may explain our awful recruitment in the summer....
thought you were in the "we've got a top six budget and its all mowbreys fault " camp
Eh? Some bloke with a source?!Ah, so it's a fact now then? Some bloke with a "source" says it's true, so there you go.
Can he confirm or deny the rumour that Wasps are interested in buying the Ricoh and setting up home here?Eh? Some bloke with a source?!
I'll have you know it was me who broke the news on this forum that we were returning to the Ricoh on a 4 year deal (looks like we're home thread).
Saucy git.....
That doesn't really tally with TMs decision to go for higher level players, he would have known the budgetsounds like the same as Hasselbaink........ and we don't know how many others whose agents also took a similar view, which may explain our awful recruitment in the summer....

Yes, he knew it, but what did the players think if they knew the ambitions of other clubs? I don't know who knew what, but if Vincelot or his agent knew something, then others may have.
Size of budget again matters not a jot.
What does matter to Fisher, however, is his constant argument that revenues beyond match day earnings are vital. It's the central theme for all his arguments.
Therefore he would be at pains to point out the revenue gained through match day receipts is not the main part of the story and the club is hampered by ability to earn elsewhere.
This is more relevant in leagues above. In this league less so and turnover in excess of £5 million is not always the norm.
Let's start at the top, Scunthorpe United - turnover £2.6 million so budget - higher or lower?
I'm going lower.

Budget last year was 3M. This year's budget was reported on Talksport to be 6M, but haven't seen that confirmed. Chairman is looking for championship status to tie in with new stadium developments. Graham Alexander gets to be on the right side of things again after Fleetwood having adopted the NOPM/U-23s only SISU model.

The 'goalposts when suits' keep moving. So last season TM failed because we apparently had a top six budget. Now we have a bottom half of the table budget the budget is irrelevant. Can't make this up. Well actually, apparently you can.

So what you are saying is that the money CCFC have available for the playing side is actually higher than Fisher claims. He understates it to boost his case that we have to own a stadium. Is that it?
It’s a genuine question – I’m finding it hard to follow your argument when you keep releasing it in the form of teasing questions

Some people get the point. If it's beyond you then fair enough.
Mr. Grendel, I haven’t done my homework properly so I don’t know what you mean. Speaking as one of the thickos at the back of the class, it would be great if you could just tell me the answer. And put a gold star in my exercise book. Then we’ll both feel good.
I get the point. You're full of shit and you don't care what colour shit you're slinging so long as its the right colour shit to suit your given "argument" at a particular given time. You'll happily use the full spectrum on the same point even though they're contradictory colours.

When will you realise Grendel is the Trump of this board? He just says whatever and when called on it just moves onto the next outrageous thing.
Expecting a reasoned argument from him or consistently of belief is like expecting your toddler to play chess properly.

At least OSB acknowledged the point on budgets

Would that be the poster who lives in the padded cell on the other side of yours? At least you attracted likes from two people who another poster described as the two lunatic fringe members of this forum.
Somewhat ironic wouldn't you say?
Has he acknowledged any of your other points?
