How about Director of Sisu comms?
They will need to give him some admin role as that 40 year contract he signed will be expensive to pay off...
If Jose mourinho came here tomorrow would results improve next game to Sheffield away? No same shit players.
Why hire hockaday?
No idea but many things they do make me scratch my head, I would have thought somebody in the club could have looked after the u21's as they must train with the first team.
One of our coaches left, he was the replacement.
He brought in his own trialist (Left back Stokes) and Marcus Tudgay praising him in the Telegraph today, is this a sign of things to come and from Sisu's point of view he is cheap!!
Done some research on Dave Hockaday - he has managed two clubs - make your own observations
Forest Green Rovers
His first season as manager ended with relegation from the Conference Premier.[SUP][15][/SUP] However, Forest Green were reinstated following Salisbury City's failure in their appeal against demotion from the Conference for financial irregularities. Despite the team finishing in a relegation position and coming under fire from a number of the clubs fans, Hockaday was offered a new one-year contract for the 2010–11 season.[SUP][16][/SUP] In his second season as Forest Green boss the team narrowly avoided relegation to the Conference South the team lost their final day fixture, a 2–1 loss away at Tamworth, but stayed in the league on goal difference.[SUP][17][/SUP]
In his third season as Forest Green manager the club finished the season in 10th place. Hockaday's fourth season as manager of the club again ended with another 10th place finish in the Conference Premier despite reportedly having the largest transfer and wage budget in the division
Leeds United
On 28 August 2014, Hockaday and assistant Junior Lewis were sacked by owner Massimo Cellino, having been in the job for only 70 days.
In my opinion its investment and direction we need not a new managerHere we go Hockaday not even manager and if he ever will be some have him as a disaster waiting to happen. Had a small spell as the top man at Leeds who incidently have done little better since he left by the way. Should it happen and something needs to and soon then judge

No Pressley is really not up to the job and will take the club down.
Investment and direction would require an ownership change. New owners first change of direction would be showing him the door.
I am now convinced this club will go down if he stays. That's a disaster. We kept Strachan and thorn when they were also clearly taking the club down.
Hockaday may re energise until the end of the season. He may keep us up. The Leeds experience can't be judged he won 2 and lost 4 and Leeds are on a downward spiral.
I would take the gamble. At least he is in place. It took forever to replace thorn - we need an instant change now.
Hockaday will be another andy thorn!

That's what people said about John Sillett.
Also it's until the end of the season. Boothroyd had alienated the squad and just removing him would clearly save the club. Even if they stuck a tub of lard with zero IQ it would have been positive.
Actually that's what they did - sadly they gave into fan pressure and gave it a contract.
Did they? Fuck me, they must have predicted the future then! Sure thorn was playing when sillett was manager lol
Hockaday who got forest green technically relegated in the conference with the highest wage bill. Yes what a masterstroke that would be. Jesus wept
Sillett had failed at Hereford and was ridiculed as a cheap option when appointed.
Do you know who John Sillett is?

Can you not read? I said hockaday will be another andy thorn and you said that's what they said about sillett.
Were Hereford a non league team with the highest budget of there league and techniqually relegated? Becareful what you wish for!

Sillet failed at Hereford? So winning the 3rd Division and getting promoted to Division 2 was failure? I think you'll find it is their best achievement. Okay they came back down but he put a trophy in the cabinet. Hardly complete failure?
We all have a soft spot for John Sillett and he certainly was not a failure at Hereford as there history tells you - in fact he was the manager that guided Hereford to promotion to the 2nd division there highest ever league placing
the official stats below also show that he was Herefords most successful manager on win ratio - its all very close but sillett comes out on top best win ratio

Yes I'm sure you, the lurker and hobo would be leaping with joy of we recruited a manager who had not actually managed for 8 years and the last managerial experience was relegation from a league 2 leagues below where we sat - oh and that club was relegated the season he left as well. Yes I'm sure you'd be delighted.

FFS - look at hockaday record. Does that inspire a revival? Doesn't for me. But hey you and Grendel love sticking up for sisu so no surprise thereAt the end of the day you never know what you are going to get when you sign or appoint anybody.
Isn't that what he is saying? He's defending the possible appointment of Hockaday against those writing him off as crap by using Silletts success here as an example.
