Is the Ricoh to big what?
For the club, in my opinion NO. For most of the players YES.
Look at the facts, whenever we get a large (for our position) following, the players bottle it and we lose (when was the last victory at home in front of a larger than league standard attendance that we won?).
Gillingham.

We didn't bottle it though did we. We started of yesterday perfectly fine and if we had scored in that 25 mins or so we would have probably gone on to win the game quite easily.
What we have though is a brtittleness and a soft underbelly. Go a goal down and our heads drop. Don't see how the Ricoh came into that yesterday. We just have the wrong players at this club, that lack the desire, fight, passion and spirit to put things right when we go behind.

Players who are now in holiday mode just don't give a damn they probably know they wont be here next season so why should they fight the cause they are losers thats why they came here cheap and nobody else wanted them, we need winners and until we do we will see mediocrity year after year.. we need a manager who is clever in his player selection coupled with some luck, maybe that is TM who knows but for people to come and blame him now with the current bunch of no hope misfits is laughable!
Lets see if he stays and lets see if his signings will be up for the fight or not...
I fear playing Crawley now we need minimum a draw but then its out of our hands if these players have any ounce of pride in themselves they should give us the performance of their lives next Sunday...I live in hope
For the players mentality, read the post
Yes, the ricoh is too big for us. bar the big 5-6 teams we'd struggle to sell out in the PL.

I'm coming up 60 and still play twice a week.
I want to win my tin pot little game every time I play.
Blocking tackles, occasional overhead kick 'attempt', arguing with friends etc
Surely every player in every game wants to win it?
Well, you'd probably have Chelsea, Liverpool, Man Utd, Man City and Villa and Leicester, plus really good crowds against Spurs and Arsenal. That's 8 games with really good crowds.
Bearing in mind that you only have 19 home games in the Premier, I would say that is a very decent return to be honest.
Yes that would be, the issue for me is, because it's that big, because you can always get tickets there is no real premium on wanting to get a ST, just because you might miss out, you know almost inducing panic buying. Look at Norwich, something like 95% of their home tickets are ST's (even in the championship), matchday tickets are at a premium. Look at us in the championship, our first season 21k, still a good 10k spare seats to choose from.

Wasn't too big for Crewe, Leyton Orient, Port Vale i could go on. The pitch is more or less the same size as any other in the league.
We can easily shut off top rows though and make the ground more condensed.
Capacity crowds for those 5-6 games you refer to justifies the Ricoh's size.Yes, the ricoh is too big for us. bar the big 5-6 teams we'd struggle to sell out in the PL.

To quote a random fat tosser "they wouldn't have the right DNA".
Hang on, is the Ricoh now crewe, orients and vales home ground?

I read it, I was just taking the piss out of your use of 'to'
Merge with CRFC expand Butts to 10k. I'd get a season ticket
