You probably should do a bit of research first, Christianity has a lot of blood on it's hands, FFS people have just been talking about Northern Ireland where people kill each other over wat flavour of Christianity is best.

Also you reference India, well there is a lot of terrorism there not carried out by Muslims:

I also said before that Christianity has blood on ots hands from hundreds of years ago not recently.

As I said it's stupid killing people in the name of fake gods.

On a train with no headphones. What's the general gist?

Just talking about his 20 years reporting from Palestine and how basically if you treat people how the Palestinians have been treated its not going to end well.
Also potential reasons why it happened when it did and about Israels relationships with other Arab countries.
Said Hezbollah getting involved would be a game changer which since the interview they have

I was talking more about, and I don't know the right words to describe them, but more like medicine, engineering etc.

You must be thinking of mathematics...

Pythagoras 500BC ish. Still kind of applies.

Euclid, the father of geometry, 200 years later.

Physics, maybe? Archimedes; a ton of stuff including displacement, calculus (iirc), and good at screwing too. :)

If you want to get to the moon and back, then a grasp of Newtonian physics is pretty handy. 400 years old.

I'm pulling your leg a bit mate, but my personal opinion is that science isn't enormously helpful in the argument against religion. As soon as I say, my God (or Gods) exist beyond the realms of the observable universe, it kind of falls down as a 'proof'.

My entirety personal take on it is believe in whatever you want, or believe in nothing at all, but don't think what you believe is the only possible truth, and that it puts you beyond the law of man.

Anyway, I digress. For my money though, it isn't religion that's the biggest threat to humanity - it's greed and short-sightedness, and our simple inability to come up with a system of economics that doesn't destroy the planet.

Israel now holding 2 million people hostage, whilst starving and bombing them and depriving them of medicine and water....in order to release about 150 hostages...

Backed to the hilt with both rhetoric and military hardware from the USA.

Utterly shameful.

There will be fall out from this upcoming genocide for generations....
Yep

Updated death tolls in Gaza of 447 children and 248 women, according to their health ministry. All Islamic terrorists of course, so that was lucky. None of the children died from beheading either, so they're just dead - which is loads better of course.

Many conflicts are not fundamentally sectarian, they are just battles for power between different groups (northern ireland being the most obvious example where the sectarian element is ultimately over stated). Israel and associated conflict is though.

Indeed, and in fairness some more of those Palestinian children will soon be dying slow, agonising deaths from secondary infections and suchlike because of the absence of power and medical supplies.

It's hideous and immoral and ultimately maybe even self-destructive. It's the best ever recruiting tool for the nutters like Hamas.

Rafah Crossing Point open again

Egypt has declared the opening of the Rafah Crossing Point from Gaza and is calling on Israel not to strike it, according to the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as reported by Anadolu Agency.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday, October 12, the Arab Republic of Egypt urged all countries, as well as regional and international organizations, wishing to provide humanitarian and emergency aid to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. This will be to “alleviate their suffering and respond to their anguish resulting from the severe and prolonged Israeli bombardments.” This aid should be delivered to Al-Arish International Airport, which has been designated by the Egyptian authorities to receive international humanitarian assistance from various international organizations and entities.

The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that “universal moral values” should compel the delivery of humanitarian support to Palestinians who are currently enduring significant hardships and dangers.

The US government is tarting to talk about human rights in relation the Israel military actions if what Antony Blinken says holds true,. Lloyd Austin half hinted at this as well so maybe international opinion is starting to turn slightly.

Yes you are right , religion it’s all bollocks.
The world would be a better place without all these hierarchical systems of bullshit that have used and abused, murdered , controlled and robbed ordinary people for centuries. So scrap Judaism, Islam, Christianity ( Especially Catholicism ) Hinduism and all the other prejudicial affiliated hangers on .
Let’s start again…..
I don't think religion is bad, it's good to have a faith, the problem arises when we mix religion with politics and geoeconomics. Government should strictly be secular.

I think it is.

They had some sympathy after the initial events, but I think some of the goodwill is starting to fade. Not surprising if you admit to cutting off water supplies I guess.

Just refused to allow aid in as well. Really not helping themselves.

Can't see it, Netanyahus waited a long time for this opportunity.
Hamas have derailed talks about normalisation between Israel and Saudi, everyone's a winner except all the poor sods who have been killed, injured, or displaced.

Geo politics eh, what a shit show

It's horrendous isn't it. Hamas doesn't give a shit about its people, the Israeli government doesn't give a shit about its people, and both are acting under the pretense that they're protecting their own people.

Netanyahu is starting to get questioned by his own people for how even if he wasn't warned by Egypt 9which the US congress confirmed he was) he was so unprepared for an attack.

Andrew Mitchell who is a (still) a government minister was talking about get aid in to the Gaza Strip. Opinion is on the turn it seems.
